Fast, affordable, high quality and communicative. This tailor is probably the best bang for your buck you'll find in DFW; I've even recommended several friends to him. He modified the shoulders on my suit after two tailors said they couldn't do it! He just marked one shoulder with chalk, no problem, done in two weeks. Answered all my questions, was very friendly and I have no complaints. I'm considering going back to him to improve my pants just because. Again, I would highly, highly recommend Universal Sewing.
I am so thankful I found this business - I had a very last minute request for a bridesmaid dress and Shenouda was able to get the dress back to me in almost less than 48 hours. He had amazing suggestions, and made the dress look even better than the website. A very kind and gentle man, I felt extremely comfortable with everything he did and if I ever have any further needs in the future I will be coming back. 10/10 - happy customer! p.s. any price he advises is 100% worth it!
Shenouda has altered drapes and made velvet floor pillows for us. His work is beautiful, and he will work quickly when needed by a certain date. Very easy to communicate with, very professional, and extremely talented! I highly recommend him!
I was desperately looking for a tailor after having terrible experiences with places nearby. Others charged way too much money for terrible work. Finally, I came across Universal sewing on google. Although it was over 30 minutes away, I still made the trip because of the fact that everybody else had terrible reviews. People were having similar experiences to mine and I wasn’t willing to go to them because of that. I was very pleasantly surprised when I walked through the door and Shenouda began making suggestions for alterations to my suit blazer without me having to say a word. He saw what needed to be done which is what a true talented tailor should be able to do. He offered me a fair price and the work he did was amazing. He took a jacket that I bought on eBay and made it look like it was custom made to fit me. Because of this, I highly recommend that you give him a try and skip the other people. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
I can’t say enough great things about Universal Sewing! They took my outfit in at the very last minute and still managed to get it done to absolute perfection. The attention to detail was amazing, and it fit like it was made just for me. I truly appreciate their professionalism, speed, and quality of work. Highly recommend them for anyone needing sewing or alterations you won’t be disappointed!
