After our recent stay in in a Home in the Fort Worth area, I can honestly say DO NOT USE this agency…..we had a sewer backup from the septic tank and found ourselves immersed with fecal matter and sewage from past visitors… the matter spread from both baths, seeped out a wall to front lawn in one bathroom, and seeping under a wall from other bathroom into my daughter’s bedroom…Kara (property manager) told us to go to hotel when she received my late night call….she called Roto Rooter immediately and they came on a late night service call…. After placing my family into a close by hotel, I returned to the rental home and confirmed Roto Rooter was there indeed there and was clearing a line infested with ROOTS… The next day the room was cleaned and sanitized and we we satisfied to move back inside for the balance of our trip. Here are my issues: 1) Being displaced on a family vacation after 10:00 pm due to a backed up up septic tank. 2) Paying for a hotel room with my family Credit Card after being displaced. 3)Being accused of causing the problem even though the true cause was root infestation….. it is not a smart thing to supply a rental home with ‘known’ sewage issues…she called Roto Rooter, not a regular plumber….she KNEW she had root problems… 4) During the episode, she said to keep receipts and she would refund along with the consideration of a refund…. afterwards she claimed she had no authority to issue a refund because we had paid thru Booking.com….our conversation with them is pending a response from Kara…. 5. We have yet to receive a refund for hotel reimbursement and this has been over three weeks now. Her lame offer to Venmo the money was offered and recended before a firm response from us was given. We didn’t agree with her calculations and are pursuing thru booking.com…… 6. We are not above a legal process with Kara…. While she thinks she has escaped this ‘Scott Free’…. She really hasn’t met me yet!! The owner has chosen to label me as a revenge review! Let it be known while I am simply fighting for what’s right for my family and receive what was promised by the host… Her concern seems to focus on her bad review instead of fulfilling her own promise to be a gracious host. The story above is 100% true…anyone who needs to see the truth can text me… I have pictures and I have every single text message from that evening and days afterwards….She promised to reimburse us for hotel expense and then dismissed that… if the story is untrue, why would she have Roto Rooter come and work til 2:00 am (as she stated in a text… “We got the root out”) And she has the gall to refer to me as a liar??? We can show you who the liar is and it’s not the Hamner family….I have pictures and texts to back up my story!!! Please pray she chooses to bring closure to this matter soon….
We enjoyed our 3 week stay at Kara’s property. The house has everything that you need and more! The bicycles are a great addition as we explored the neighbourhood & biked to the near by beaches. Everything is conveniently close to the house, beaches, shopping, grocery stores, restaurants & entertainment. The swim spa is huge & great for after dinner soaking. Our Frenchie enjoyed the big fenced yard chasing gecko’s. Neighbourhood is quiet & friendly. We will definitely book again next time we are in Naples Fl.
We were in New Hampshire for a wedding. We had five adults and a three year old and the home was perfect for our stay! It was exactly like the photos and very spacious. The beds, especially the master bedroom, were extremely comfortable. The place was ready a few hours early and we were able to extend our stay a day! Kara was very responsive and we would consider staying at this location or another location hosted by Kara for another vacation.
Very nice get-away home for the fam! The pool & the pool area are very nice, clean & roomy, and had Amazing lay-out by the pool chairs and plenty of seating. The patio table was great, especially for evening meals out by the grill. We enjoyed the outside area so much! The large game room is cool & perfect for having fun together. Definitely a great bonus room! And I have to do a Huge shout-out to the Rental owners/company... you are in Great hands with these people -they truly care and went over & above to help make our stay there a memorable one. They are responsive with any issues and took care of everything for us quickly & smoothly. If you're looking for a wonderful stay in the Fortworth area, this is it :) Very Quiet & relaxing, we would definitely stay here again! (P.s. So many towels!! Thank you for all the wonderful towels you stocked the whole house up with - we lacked for nothing! :)
What an amazing place! My children and I needed a little time to just let it be summer, swim, and have fun. We arrived to a beautiful pool, beautiful home, and had the perfect mini vacay! It TRULY felt like my home away from home. Most importantly,we felt safe!! We didn’t want to leave. Will most definitely be recommending to family, and friends. Thank you for a wonderful time!!
