We needed to see a vet for our kitten after hours. They were great. So kind and provided clear instructions (written and verbal) about medication. They made sure to let me know That if there were any issues or I had any concerns to bring her back to the clinic. I would recommend VSOS to anyone requiring after hours care for their animal!
From the start of my boys issue to the happy end, these experienced & I mean highly knowledgeable vets & staff were on task to stabilise & get my dog through a very difficult time. Thorough, responsive & caring all the way! I knew we were in for a fight with an aged dog but VSOS has an amazing setup with staff & equipment. I was informed well over two days as to the progress & possible outcome for my boy & what a relief when he pulled through!!!! I can’t thank you all enough at VSOS from reception to icu .. my blessings & thanks you all & from my boy Mr Bunz 💙
This was our first visit and what friendly and informative staff. We came in on Christmas Night and were well looked after, given lots of information and had time to make choices that would best suit our pup's symptoms and us. We are so grateful for these guys being around and open to support us when we needed them. I had full confidence in what they suggested we do. Our girl spent today sleeping after her long night and little procedure but was feeling slightly more alert this afternoon. Thanks again, she is on the road to recovery.
I took my bulldog in as an emergency patient. She was very unwell with cardiac issues. The team were fast acting, efficient and caring in their approach. I could not speak more highly of the cardiologist we spoke with. He was clear, up front and honest about everything going on which i very much appreciated. I was only there a short time but it was evident how hard working and passionate everyone is in this clinic. I am grateful for every extra minute we have with our girl and know it is because of the actions of the treating team involved in her care. Thanks so much everyone.
Today was our third experience with VSOS, with 2 different dogs for 3 very different reasons. The customer service, care/compassion and professionalism shown each time has been top notch. From the reception staff through to the specialists, the surgeons and the vet nurses, I can say we have had the best care for our dogs. We travel from Wollongong by choice for these particular visits (urgent ultrasound, MPL surgery, X-rays and desexing) and would happily travel again for their services if needed. You can really tell they all truly care for the animals they deal with and for the customers handing over their precious fur-babies to them. My dog today on his second visit gave his special “helicopter tail” hello wags to Courtney, who had cared for him previously, and didn’t even look back for us as he was taken into their care which shows us how well he is treated by them behind closed doors. Our previous dog was particularly unwell and anxious when we first visited VSOS and she did not hesitate to go with the lovely staff who took her in. On that occasion the staff who discharged her to us took a great deal of time and compassion to help explain some things to us and gave us some great ideas to make our girl’s last days a bit more comfortable. A special mention goes to Alissa also who clearly loves her job and has shown our boy so much love and care. On each visit she was so personable and went out of her way to show us our boy was being given lots of love while he was away from us. Our surgeon the last two visits was Dr Rachel and in her consults she was incredible. She has a very calming and confident persona and was able to explain in great detail what was going on/going to happen. Both times she helped soothe our anxieties and was extremely patient with us, at no point did we feel rushed or dismissed. I could go on and on - VSOS is quality care and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.
