Took my vintage Technics receiver into VS because I new it needed a couple things fixed, a minor cosmetic issue & just some routine maintenance, switches & pots cleaned, DC offset & bias adjusted. Was contacted by Casey who told me upfront that this was what was needed & I agreed to have this work performed at a very reasonable price. One day later he contacted me & said, it's completed & ready for pickup. I have it home now & I'm thoroughly enjoying this beautiful sounding Vintage Technics receiver. If you haven't heard of Vintage Source for stereo equipment repair I suggest you give them at try. Brad & Casey are the best.

We have had so much fun working with Dan! The store is beautiful, an mcm dream! We have been looking for a long time and we're finally ready to pull the trigger on stuff for our main bedroom. We decided on 2 Bissman dressers (don't get him started on Bissman, bc he loves them) He is working on restoration now. In the meantime, he was keeping his eye out for other things we needed. He found some beautiful nightstands from Jack Cartwright for Founders. He let us come down right away, outside of business hours. He told us they were in fantastic shape and boy was he right! As soon as we saw them we were so excited, they were perfect. He gave us a great price and they fit perfectly in our space. I could not recommend Dan and everyone at Vintage Source more!

Awesome shop. We stopped in just to take a look around, but there’s so much to see that we ended up spending over an hour there. We walked out with a few records and then came back the next day for the most beautiful Poul Jensen tile inlay coffee table. This will be a lifetime piece of furniture and we couldn’t be happier. We will definitely be back the next time we visit KC.

While moving, a new credenza for our dining room was damaged, having the metal leg apparatus torn off, ripping out the screw holes. It was ugly and the movers were not liable, though they were responsible. We propped it up for a time. Then, I discovered Vintage Source, mostly drawn to the stereo gear & furniture. This is a similar piece to their work and I found they do repairs. Brad & Dan turned out a restoration that, well, is picture perfect. See the before and after shots. It was not cheap, but was reasonable. For fine furniture it was very worth it. You cannot tell it was ever damaged and sturdier bolts and support bracing will defy any situation. (Though I have learned to removed the legs.) They can fix fine furniture because they make it themselves. The store is a trip into post modern cool and some of their found-furniture, especially hi-fi sets are mind-blowing rarities. Not sure how they do it, but I suppose they are simply connected and knowledgeable craftsmen. Trust them. Buy something from them. A one-of-a-kind operation right here in KC.

The team at Vintage Source did an excellent job of restoring and reupholstering two very sentimental mid-century modern chairs, each unique in design. They understood the significance of these pieces and provided exceptional service from the initial consultation to final delivery. They provided guidance on the fabric selection, honoring the history while refreshing the appearance. Their attention to detail is evident. In addition to looking amazing, the chairs are now comfortable and sturdy. Vintage Source brought new life to these very special pieces, preserving them for future generations of our family. I highly recommend them!
