We went into the store on a winter day. VVV looks like a DC landmark with its lively colors. Inside everything was curated and displayed. Cute touches had transformed an old bank into a high end vintage store. The staff were welcoming and helpful to the extreme. We left with some rare pieces vowing to return soon.
A not-so hidden gem (because it's neon) for vintage shopping within Union Market district; it's hard to believe this was once a decaying bank. Vintage Vintage Vintage has a rotating roster of local resellers (including from Baltimore, Richmond and further out) offering a well-curated range of vintage clothes, accessories, home goods, art and more. Vintage Vintage Vintage is widely inclusive of aesthetic, gender expression and size, and their friendly and knowledgeable staff are willing to help you find exactly what you're looking for (or at least guide you to the photobooth). With additional popups and community engagement on a regular basis, I highly recommend it as a place to shop for vintage clothes, and/or at least to meet and be inspired by other creative people.
VINTAGE VINTAGE VINTAGE | Vintage Clothing & Home Décor at Union Market is a must! This hidden gem is a vibrant celebration of all things retro. It’s located inside one of the most colorful buildings in Union Market, a bright blue exterior with bold, playful lettering that instantly catches your eye and invites you in. Once inside, it feels like stepping into a time capsule filled with some of the coolest vintage clothing and home décor finds in the DC area. The vibe is pure fun with great music, creative displays, a disco ball ceiling, and a dressing room area that feels like its own mini party. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and stylish, adding to the store’s creative energy. I only stopped in for a quick visit but plan to go back to explore more because there’s so much to discover. Whether you’re a true vintage lover or just looking for something unique to express your personal style, VINTAGE VINTAGE VINTAGE is absolutely worth a visit. Everything old feels new again here, and the curation is spot-on. During my visit, I even ran into a friend and fellow DC native with her mom, which proves this place really has something for everyone.
Don't think twice--GO! I truly cannot stop shopping here, every time I find something unexpected and fabulous. The owners are so much fun and are always around to answer questions. Half my closet is from VVV at this point! There is no store in the DMV like it!
Really friendly staff and my fave spot for vintage clothes. On the pricier end of things but at the end of the day it is a curated vintage store and not a thrift store. Hope to see them do good in this new spot cause it looks really great! Shout out to Hiraya for always having amazing pieces.
