Alex / VOX did an amazing job at our wedding. He showed up and set up quickly- the lighting and entire system he brought was amazing. It was classy, and once it was time to dance, it seemed like he knew exactly what to play and when, to keep the entire dance floor present. Highly recommend, very professional and we didn't worry about a thing.
Working with Alex was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Planning through the app ahead of time was a breeze, and it was easy to communicate with Alex to make sure everything would go to plan. He went above and beyond to ensure the guest experience was perfect - guests continually came up to us throughout the dance floor portion of the wedding commenting on how great the DJ was. Absolutely incredible experience working with Vox! Alex was the best DJ, professional and kind. The app they provided was a great planning tool, and relatively easy to use. Our Nigerian wedding ceremony was a bit complicated with several music requirements, but Alex owned it and hit all the queues! Our guests were extremely happy and he kept them all dancing throughout the entire night! I would recommend Alex and DJ Vox to anybody planning a wedding. Vox DJ is the way to go!!!
Having DJ Alex Choi from Vox DJ Company at our wedding was a dream come true! We’d seen him in action at other weddings and always hoped he’d be the one to DJ ours. From start to finish, he was a breeze to work with and really went above and beyond. His planning app was amazing—it made picking songs easy, reminded us about things we’d overlooked (like a wedding party entrance song and the mother-son dance), and let us share access with our planner and friends who helped us decide when we were running out of steam. On the wedding day, Alex brought an energy that completely transformed the space. His lighting setup made the whole room feel like a party right after the ceremony, and his transitions were seamless. After the first dances, he kicked things off with the wedding shoe game, guiding it with the perfect mix of humor and enthusiasm that got everyone ready to hit the dance floor. Alex just knows how to carry a party without ever feeling over the top—he was fun, professional, and really kept things moving. We’d only given him a few song requests, and from there, Alex nailed it with the rest of the playlist. His feel for the crowd was spot-on, and it wasn’t just our friends who loved the music; our parents and families were out there dancing, too! And when MeMaw gets on the dance floor - you know the music is right! He mixed in 90s hits with other classics that had everyone, from our college friends to our grandparents, having a blast. If you’re looking for a DJ who’s got the skill, personality, and music sense to make your event unforgettable, Alex Choi is the one. We can’t recommend him enough!
We’ve had the pleasure of being guests at a wedding for which Alex was the DJ, as well as having him DJ our wedding! Both were an absolute blast. Alex did music, microphones, and lights for our ceremony and reception. From when we first reached out, everything was incredibly easy, and we never had any doubt Alex had all our needs covered. He listened well to our vision for the day and fulfilled it perfectly, along with filling in any gaps to match our vibe for the portions of the day where we didn’t have specific music requests. He was a great MC, and everything flowed smoothly all day with no hiccups. We wanted our reception to be an energetic dance party, and that’s exactly what we got! The dance floor was packed the entire night. We’re still getting comments about how much fun people had at our wedding which brings us so much joy!
