My family was truly looking forward to our stay with Walker Luxury Rentals. Unfortunately, I had to cancel due to the sudden and devastating death of someone incredibly close to me. I had purchased travel insurance through their recommended provider and submitted the claim along with a formal death certificate, but it was denied due to a technicality in the original guest agreement, which didn’t list the deceased traveler. I tried to correct this afterward, but neither the insurance company nor Walker was willing to make any updates. I reached out to Walker directly, hoping they’d show some flexibility or goodwill given the circumstances. Instead, I was told their policies were final. Of the $3,300 I paid (plus $250 for the now-useless insurance), I was only offered about $1,000 back in cleaning fees, taxes, and a damage waiver. The communication was polite, but their actions showed no real willingness to support a guest going through an incredibly painful and unexpected life event. I wasn’t asking for a full refund, just a gesture of empathy. Even a small credit toward a future stay would have meant something. For a company that markets itself as “luxury,” their complete lack of compassion was deeply disappointing. I won’t rent from Walker again—not because the homes aren’t beautiful, but because life is unpredictable, and they made it clear that policy comes before people.

This place is awesome!!! We had an incredible stay at this super private hill country ranchette. We highly recommend and will definitely be back. The setting is so peaceful, and secluded...we never saw another soul all week. The house was just perfect and was a easily accommodated all 10 of our guests. Top notch amenities, cozy beds, and massive sofas to enjoy our family. We loved hanging at our secluded pool all day and even our doggo swam until his heart was content. The stargazing was amazing, and the wide-open spaces were just what we were looking for. The hosts were super professional and were there at a moment's notice (although we never needed anything) We highly recommend this for a great private family getaway, and would be great for a bachelorette/bachelor party, wedding party, etc. We had all of the privacy yet easy access to Austin Can’t wait to come back!

Stayed at The Owner’s House for my sister-in-law’s bachelorette party and it was perfect! The place was super spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The entire setup was great for hanging out as a group, especially with the amazing outdoor living space, but we also had plenty of space to unwind individually. Walker Luxury Vacation Rentals made the whole process easy, and their team was super helpful. Definitely recommend and would stay here again!

We have had the most incredible experiences with Walker Luxury Vacation Rentals! I’ve taken my family to a couple of their properties in the Austin area, and every stay has been absolutely perfect. The homes are not only beautiful but also filled with such peaceful and welcoming energy. They are impeccably maintained, well-stocked with everything we need, and truly feel like a home away from home. The attention to detail and customer service are top-notch. We can’t wait to book another stay this summer! Highly recommend!

We truly enjoyed our 5 day stay in this gorgeous home in Bee Hive, Texas celebrating our daughter’s 30th birthday. Everyone loved spending time in the swimming pool overlooking magnificent views, and dining outdoors under the stars. The expansive kitchen made preparing meals a breeze and everyone slept comfortably in the cozy beds. The house was stocked with everything we needed, especially bath and pool towels. Thank you Amy and team for a lovely experience. We look forward to coming back.
