I am the grandma of Stella a dog trained by Marianne for a month. She was a rescue who was totally off the rails. Just came to my house for the first time since she’s been back home. This is a different animal. Sweet, loving, calm, and a pleasure to be with. And so good with Luna her older sister Thanks to you for making my daughter’s home complete.

There aren’t enough ways that I can thank Mariann for teaching me and my rescue pup how to have a peaceful coexistence filled with love. I was desperate for support after 4 challenging months with Stella, and the universe helped me find Mariann, who never judged me and only wanted to offer her wisdom and help. From our initial home visit, where she assessed my puppy’s behavior and its impact on me and my senior dog, to her ongoing communication and training videos while Stella was at her 4 week board and train, I was learning from her how to communicate more effectively with my very anxious dog. Now Stella has a firm understanding that I’m here to guide her, and her sweet personality is shining through. Since coming home almost 2 weeks ago, the changes in Stella from her time with Mariann are immeasurable. Before we were unable to walk 50 feet; now people stop me on the street to comment on how good Stella is! Perhaps most importantly, Mariann has been super responsive to my questions by text as I continue to learn to be the dog mom that Stella needs me to be. I feel like both Stella and I have someone in our corner now, who has a gift for training and understanding dogs, and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to benefit from Mariann and WAOK9 training! I’d give her a zillion stars if I could!

As a first time dog owner I was super hesitant at first to send Lincoln to training, but I’m so glad I did. The experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I got Lincoln back, it’s been night and day. The transformation in behavior, confidence, and overall responsiveness has been incredible. Mariann clearly knows what she is doing, and took the time to explain everything so i could continue the progress at home. I can’t recommend WAOK9 enough—truly a game-changer!

Mariann is an incredibly talented dog trainer and I’ve seen so many positive changes in my pup that make me want to cry with happiness. Tonga has always been a big mush but this was hidden from many due to a fear of the outside world that caused him to bark, lunge and growl at strangers as well as go a bit crazy around other dogs. It was to the point that I was tense going outside the home because he was so emotional around everything. After spending 5 weeks in reactivity boot camp, he is so much happier, confident and relaxed - and his sweetness is finally shining for all to see! We are now going on pulling-free walks, relaxed hikes and sit outside together without both being on edge the whole time. In the house, he has been less territorial and melts into relaxation mode when he is in place or down. Mariann is very thorough and spent time explaining everything we needed to know to communicate better with Tonga and advocate for his needs. You can tell she truly loves the dogs in her care and wants the best for them and their owners. Mariann provided the structure my dog needed to regulate his emotions, feel more comfortable and thrive in the world. I’m looking forward to keeping up all the great things we both learned and excited for the very happy life of adventure I have ahead with Tonga - thank you, Mariann!!! Hands down the best decision I made for me and my pup was starting puppy training classes with Mariann. She was such a wonderful help to me and my German Shepherd dog. With her help and guidance I was able to build a solid, loving, healthy relationship with my beautiful girl. When I first got my puppy, she was very stubborn, didn’t listen to anyone, had a very short attention span, very reactive to other dogs/people (she even barked aggressively at her own reflection). After my first training with Mariann, she was a completely different dog. I was super impressed with just two hours of training. Mariann was a heaven sent, she thoroughly explained each action/tip in a way that made me feel confident with my own training abilities. I was very skeptical of how much I could do once she wasn’t present during Kali’s training sessions, but her guidance was so on point, I was able to follow each step and accomplish managing my dog with ease. I highly recommend her and her services as my dog and I have really benefited from our experience with WAOK9.
