It was very disorganized. There was only one booth that could tell us which plants were cat friendly. We went into the greenhouse and two of the women there could not help us, didn’t know the answers to our questions. We were told to find out the name of the planet and look it up on the Internet. Also told to go outside and find another woman that was wearing the same shirt that could help us. She could not. Extremely disappointed. Had hoped to find some indoor plants that were animal friendly. The greenhouse acted like they really didn’t care. We would never go to that again.
I stopped at Whiteford Greenhouse to buy some plants for the cemetery. There was quite a variety of plants to select and it was only April. The people there were very friendly and helpful.
I just arriVed ( albeit, 15 minutes late! Lol) to the Second Annual TOLEDO PLANT FESTIVAL, july 13th and 14th. Rare houseplants, Gardening vendors, Crafts, Art, Food Trucks. MUSiC and Fun°
Have been buying flowers from here for the past few years. The greenhouse is large and always has a wide variety of different plants. They also sell some vegetable plants. Come here if you are looking for some new plants!
Great selection this year (2023) even late into the season. Still had the kind of hanging baskets I was looking for. Prices for hanging baskets have gotten ridiculous....not blaming the business, but the people who put the current president in office. Definitely recommend buying flowers here. The colors are robust and bright. They also last late into the season.
