This review rating is for Willow’s service on special orders. Early November I asked them if they could get me 30 15-gal shrubs. They checked and called me back stating they could but they were just 4’ tall. I appreciated them being honest about the size so hence two stars versus one. I told them for $150 each, I wanted at least 5’ tall above ground because I could get 4’ at Home Depot for around $40 each. They said they would make some other calls to see if they could find them somewhere else. If not, it could be toward the end of November before they could get back to me. I told them I could wait. Since I had a problem with them before on a special order, I decided to check with Wilcox. I told Wilcox what I was looking for and the next day they called me letting me know they located some and even sent me a photo with the height. Wilcox was able to find ones that were 6’ above ground when planted and for $51 less each so over $1,500 savings for me! Willow NEVER called me back which is exactly what they did on my other special order earlier in the year. (I know they got in what I special ordered because I checked weekly for a month and on week 4, I saw 2 at their nursery but never a call.) After two poor experiences with Willow on special orders, I know now not to waste time and go directly to Wilcox who can make it happen.
Super sweet folks. Came to look for a sunflower plant as a memorial gift for my wife (her mother passed recently and that was her favorite flower). The fella walked all over trying to find one because they're out of season so he wasn't sure if they had any, but he was determined to find one for me if they did. He asked a lady and she came out and showed us where they were. It's a dwarf sunflower plant which it turns out was the best option. Thank you for all the help today. I'm sorry I didn't get your names. I was on a mission lol
They have the best selection of plants locally. It's always great to walk around and look at everything. Lots of pots and "extras" for the garden. A little pricey, but a much nicer experience than a big box store. Definitely worth checking out.
Our favorite nursery! Anytime we need a tree or flowers to our garden, that’s where we go. We also refer them to our customers and friends. They have a great variety of plants and sometimes they even put an order for us with their suppliers when they are out of something we want. Great customer service, high quality plants and we love the fact that this is a family owned and operated business.
Cute place but my goodness is the staff rude! Service is what brings me (and most customers) back to a place of business. To clarify, we were wheeling our cart full of plants and shrubs through the nursery then an employee suddenly GRABS our cart right out of my partner's hands!!! We did not understand what was going on. He said "I'll ring you up. It's over this way." We both said "We're still shopping." (We were not even close to either checkout counter so this did not make sense). He never asked if we were ready. He would not let go of our cart of plants! We literally had to ask him for our plants back and he was VERY RUDE as if we were doing something wrong! I'm not sure what was going through his head but WOW! We wanted to just leave but we decided to ring out. We walked up to the register before checking out to ask a young lady about hanging pots first (no plants in them) to which she said "Oh, I don't know." and left it at that with no recommendations or guidance on whether more will come in, nothing. Prices are high on select items as well. A hanging orchid was $70, identical to hanging orchids at Lowe's which also have a decorative root ball or pot for only $30! Clearly the staff here does not care AT ALL about their job or the customers they serve so this was our last time coming to this plant nursery. There's too much competition in the area to be uncomfortable on a simple leisurely fun trip to a plant nursery.
