Words cannot describe how happy I am with Danny, and his jewelry store! After my fiancé and I had visited several other places, we went there as our last stop. Thank goodness we did!!! His store is well appointed, cozy, and inviting...not stuffy and pretentious like others we'd visited. The staff was friendly, helpful, and not "pushy"...which is something we also appreciated having experienced that prior at other stores. We purchased a gorgeous engagement ring that he crafted exactly to my description. He also made a wedding band for my husband, and an amazing matching wedding band for my engagement ring. I have gotten tons of compliments on my ring daily! People are in love with it! The quality, the craftsmanship, and the unique, beautiful elegant style are beyond words. Danny was so easy to work with, communicated well, and got everything done right on time! And his prices were absolutely fair and phenomenal! I would recommend him to anyone going forward, and use him again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much Danny and staff!!
Mixed feelings here. I took some scrap gold here to sell a few weeks ago. They made an offer and I accepted. While I was there my wife asked about have a ring repaired and was quoted $500 for the repair. This seemed way too high, so we took it to another recommended spot in Salisbury that’s been in business for 35 years and has a solid reputation to uphold. They quoted and did the repair for $150. I’m not sure if Wingos just didn’t want to do it and quoted it that high or if they wanted me to bite at that price. Regardless, I can’t help but wonder if I actually got a fair price for the gold I sold that day. The short of it, shop around and make sure you’re paying or being paid a fair price.
I had my bracelet repaired at Wingo’s and they did a wonderful job! Will definitely be back.
Absolutely amazing! I had my ring cut off at the beach when I broke my finger. The ring was in two pieces.I brought it to them in a plastic cup on Monday. On Thursday I had it back with new 14K gold added. It looked exactly like it was new!
Today my wife and I stopped in Wingo’s Fine Jewelry Store in Clemmons. My wife asked Danny Wingo, the owner, if she could get her wedding ring cleaned, and her cross necklace shortened. Danny cheerfully greeted both of us, cleaned her ring and shortened her necklace, on the spot.
