We have just had a fantastic experience at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa, from checking in to departing. All of the staff were lovely and attentive without being intrusive and the food was amazing, so both service and our meal were great. The complimentary glass of birthday fizz was very appreciated. The spa area was compact, but clean and relaxing, I also had a manicure with Georgina who was lovely, very friendly and so informative as I asked questions about the process. Our deluxe room was spacious, clean and well stocked. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the establishment or the food. Thank you for a great birthday treat!
We've just come back from such a wonderful stay at this hotel! I cannot recommend it enough. Every member of staff was so attentive and welcoming. The spa treatment that I had (body combo) was absolutely fantastic, the best treatment I have had in as long as I can remember. The hotel itself is situated in the most beautiful location and the room was pure luxury, with an unbeatable view. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt completely looked after and spoilt! The food was really excellent too. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Would love to return again in the future.
Room was lovely. Our 2 dogs were greeted with their own beds provided by the hotel. Along with individual water and food bowls. Food and service were great. I had a full body massage and Georgia who did my treatment was amazing and even talked me through after care which I appreciate. I would highly recommend
What a beautiful place, even in wet weather. We were welcomed warmly by Richard as we parked immediately outside the hotel overlooking fabulous countryside views. Our room was very clean and tidy , with large en suite and gorgeous bay window. Just a touch of a shame we were at the tree and not able to take in the amazing views to the front. A beautiful bar where we enjoyed a well made cocktail or two, before just watching the work go by in the drawing room. Be sure to try the restaurant. Food was beautifully cooked and Michelin standard. A good wine cellar too, dining staff very knowledgeable on pairings. We didn’t get any pictures of our meal, it was too delicious to put down our cutlery. The Spa not overly busy and good range of equipment in the gym. Breakfast is an 11/10! A little packed lunch with fresh fruit and water for our onward journey was a nice touch to complete our stay. A secret gem in the Yorkshire countryside. Definitely worth a look and we’ll be back for sure. Thank you!
I genuinely think this is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The whole experience was just fantastic, wonderful welcoming friendly staff, the rooms and the pool were fabulous . The food was amazing and the cocktails were out of this world. The barman even made me a surprise cocktail when I couldn't decide from the menu , he made a berry gin sour that was unforgettable! Also a special mention to Martin who looked after us at breakfast, we can't wait to come back! The only thing I could find fault with was I never got any chips with my steak at dinner so I'll want extra chips next time!!
