Got Mead? Mead I say more! Wyldewood Cellars sells the best mead, hands down. Whenever I am in Wichita, I always try to stop by to pick up a bottle or two. I give the product five stars but... I will agree with my fellow reviewees... The help could use a little customer service training. I am after all paying 15+ dollars per bottle and I generally buy two. A smile and a thank you would be much appreciated.
I and my sister and mom took a drive to see family in Whictha ,KS, and told them about yummy wine i had long ago here. So we caught them open🙃🙂🙃. We wait until they open on that Sunday morning. I, my sister and mother ENJOY our experience. The man that help us was kind, very patient with my elderly mother .she felt like royalty as he keep answering all our and her questions and letting her sample whatever it was she thought she wanted to try. 😄 We left with 10 bottles of our choice. Their mead is really good!! The blackberry is the best, hands down. Decent prices as well.
They have great quality mead, definitely worth the price. (And the elderberry mead is so yummy paired with a splash of ginger ale!) We always grab a bottle of their wine or mead for our special occasions.💜
I am not a wine drinker and I stopped in to get a bottle for my daughter who lives in Virginia. I explained to the lady there, who was pleasant but not overly friendly, how I did not know what I was looking for but I could tell her what my daughter described what she liked in a wine. She was quick to let me taste some selections and recommended Strawberry Lady Pearl, which was delicious! Not only did I come back and get me one, but I am going back to get my sister one also! I absolutely would recommend this Tasting Room!
