I was looking for sushi when this place came up in my search. Aside from the parking lot—which can be a pain, you know where—this place was a hit! We did the AYCE option, and the food was surprisingly good. I was especially glad they didn’t overload the rolls with rice like many other places do. Our servers were very nice and attentive. So glad we checked it out, and we’ll definitely be back with friends!
We came here randomly on a Thursday night and were not disappointed. Our server was Quinn (hopefully spelled it right) she was amazing and very patient. We got the AYCE option which was 40 per person, we think it was totally worth it. The interior feels luxurious, good thing we dressed nice. The Yellowtail was buttery and the rice was just perfect. We could not believe how good everything was because usually the quality of some AYCE places are just okay. We will 100% be coming back! We sort of came around 8pm which was bad part on us but we did not feel rushed and everything was still prepared so nicely. Thank you!!^-^
My husband and I went here late last night quite spontaneously. They had obviously just finished the dinner rush and warned us beforehand that the kitchen was backed up and food may take a while. We appreciated the communication and took a seat anyway - however, service was actually quite swift! There was a hiccup with the table at first (my partner wanted to order from their all-you-can-eat menu but I didn’t and the whole table had to participate by policy; but we just moved from our shared booth table to individual bar seats and that resolved the issue), but the rest of the night went smoothly. The waitress who served my husband was very good about checking in regularly so he could make the most of the all-you-can-eat menu without having to wait, which was appreciated as it was a timed event. He definitely got his money’s worth and said the sushi was exceptionally delicious (his favourites were the blossom roll and the smoked salmon nigiri)! I myself don’t like sushi, but I’m pleased to report this restaurant has plenty of choices for people like me. I ended up ordering their gyoza appetizer and their tonkotsu ramen as a main, and both were fantastic! I don’t usually like gyoza, but the fry was perfect and the flavor was immaculate. And even though the ramen broth was nothing special, the toppings were exceptional. My only criticism would be there wasn’t enough of them - I had to order seconds of their boiled egg (soft and bursting with comforting flavor) and chashu pork (fall-apart and melt-in-the-mouth)! We both got dessert as well. My husband just got some ordinary vanilla ice-cream but said it wasn’t bad for what it was. I got the chocolate lava cake and it was completely decadent! I also topped it off with a couple of the Sake Sangria cocktails which I highly recommend. Drinks aside, it was a surprisingly affordable meal for the type of cuisine it was and the prime location the restaurant is set in. My husband spent about $40 on the all-you-can-eat and my meal was probably just over $30. We would happily come eat here again the next time we’re in the area!
One of my hidden gems. The food is always amazing and the service has always been Immaculate. The staff has always been friendly during all of my visits here. The seafood is always fresh and they just introduced an all you can eat menu that is well worth the price. This place is a one stop shop for lunch, brunch or dinner. I definitely recommend this place if you are a sushi lover like I am.
My visit was solely focused on the nigiri and sashimi, and the quality was absolutely flawless. The sashimi selection was cut with surgical precision, showcasing fish that melted in the mouth and tasted like it was caught just hours before. The texture and pristine flavor of the salmon and yellowtail were exceptional highlights. What truly elevated the meal, however, was the nigiri. Each piece was a balanced, two-bite harmony. Chef Bruce is not just preparing food his creating art. The presentation was elegant and minimalist, reflecting a profound respect for the ingredients. If you appreciate the subtle nuances of high-quality raw fish prepared by a true artisan, this is the only place to go. Highly, highly recommended.
