What an absolutely stunning nursery! It was my second visit to Yarralumla and this time, a winter one. The summer selections I'd seen earlier in the year were simply beautifully presented by the staff and this time around, the atmosphere was completely different, yet equally as impressive. On a cold winter's day, the dormant plants made a clear statement and flower and vegie seedling section was abundant. The nursery is laid out so sensibly, includes rare species and a variety of plants that are far more impressive than those found in the awful garden centres in certain hardware stores and the staff always offer a word of advice and a friendly greeting. Such a pleasant time and already planning a visit in the spring. The nursery is a must visit for plant lovers and the trip from Sydney is well worth it.
Christmas shopping in gift shop - fabulous service from Oscar and Sam, excellent range of quirky, quality gifts and priced accordingly. Highly recommend Yarralumla Nursery for gifts and beautiful plants and GREAT service. Thank you
The majority of reviewers below are referring to the Heritage Nursery rather than the Yarralumla Nursery. The Yarralumla Nursery is a government nursery and does not open to the public. They issue the government Plant Issue Scheme to sections in new suburbs with various sized plants to help improving the lanscaping and platation of those areas. The nursery itself is great in the feeling and variety but you cannot buy unless you are a wholesaler.
Great nursery, good prices and range of outdoor plants and some indoor. More for outdoors and wholesale, lots of natives. Lovely well priced pots too! Some good sale plants as well.
Ich mag das abwechslungsreiche Sortiment, das Yarralumla Nursery anbietet, wirklich sehr. Ich konnte einige Chain of Hearts bekommen, die ich nirgendwo sonst gesehen habe, und das Personal war super hilfsbereit und freundlich. Etwas teurer als der Ort, zu dem ich normalerweise gehe, aber wenn es das ist, wonach ich suche und ich es nirgendwo anders beschaffen kann, zahle ich gern.
