We were in an auto accident in October of 2023. While I was in ICU, my daughter-in-law, an attorney, began searching for an attorney to represent me. After several phone calls, she chose Ryan Zavodnick. She was impressed because his first question was, "How are your in-laws doing?" She felt this was very personable and showed concern for our wellbeing. I have felt the same way during this litigation process. Ryan has always asked how my husband & I are doing. In June of 2020, I sadly got the phone call every parent fears. My oldest child of 4 & only son, Michael who was only 18 had been involved in a horrific accident from a dui driver on a susp license. He passed away at the hospital 3 day's later. Our whole world changed in a instant. When a life altering event such as this happens, you don't really know what to do or where to turn. Your guards up. I spoke with several attorneys until finally deciding to go with Zavodnick & Lasky. Only someone I felt would fight for our family & represent my son properly would do. The level of care we recieved through the entire 3 year process & attention to detail was exceptional. This case was particularly difficult as it had several criminal co-defendants as well which affected the civil suit in ways. As a man & father himself Ryan went far above & beyond what a typical attorney would do. Howard also was always just a phone call away with any silly question I may have had or just continue to reassure us explaining the process as we went through it. Many times I had to apologize for being short with them as I was doing my best adjusting I know I wasn't a easy client by any means but their constant advice was firm & spot on handling it all with a grace you just don't see nowadays from many people which is exactly what we needed. It was such a long, hard road many days I got through just admiring their commitment to us. If they won't give up on us or Michael, how could I? In the end, the gift they helped give us will allow us a fresh start finally something we desperately needed. I truly can't imagine going through this entire process with anyone else. Their knowledge & understanding was invaluable. We couldn't & wouldn't of been able to make it this far. I look back & consider ourselves lucky to have Ryan & Howard on our team. Nothing was too big or small. We owe them so much. I won't ever look for another attorney again as I feel if needed we have them as a family friend for life.
