** After leaving this review on Facebook I’ve now been blocked so I will post the review here 5 Star Entertainment DJ’d my best friend’s wedding back in October 2022. It was not a good experience: - During dinner, the bride was alerted that he was having an animated phone call with someone out on the patio, a 30 second video was attached, but this conversation went on for a few minutes. Mind you, the bride had 48 guests eating on the patio during this time and he was standing in front of a window, which everyone inside could see. This was inappropriate, if there is something personal you need to attend to at least step around the side of the building or take the call another time. - Speech time came, he forgot to announce the bride’s step-daughter Finley who was on the initial document she filled out as giving a speech. The bride then grabbed the mic from her and announced her to which he made a comment over the mic along the lines of "ok, I guess here's Finley" as if I was throwing a wrench in the night. The mic began to go out during her speech - she was not moving around at all as she was nervous and just looking down at her phone. - During the best man's speech, the best man WAS moving around a lot, but the mic was going out like it was during Finley's. The bride saw something happening outside the window during the speech, it was Eddie, flailing his arms around trying to get the best man's attention to tell him to not move around as much. She knew this because he was waving his arms, then motioning a microphone up to his mouth, then when he didn't get the best man's attention, he threw his arms in the air and mocked the way the best man was moving around. The bride was not the only one that saw this, as did her sister, whose chair faced the window. - Eddie was not very personable with guests that were coming up to him and the bride was told that there were multiple requests that did not get fulfilled. One, being WAP, was THANKFULLY not played, but he said to the guest "I will NEVER play that song at a wedding, are you kidding me?" If it were me, I would have said something along the lines of "that song is on the do-not-play list for this event, is there something else you'd rather hear?" He just looked like he didn't want to be there at all from a demeanor standpoint. To me there's no excuse for the behavior displayed while working an event of this nature. It was not the experience the bride and groom anticipated given the investment they made. Nor was it the experience she came to expect with the research she had done on your company. Within 48 hours of her big day she contacted Bob requesting a refund of their deposit after detailing out the ways in which Eddie had failed to provide a professional DJing service (outlined above). Bob agreed to refund $400. Now, you may ask, why are you just now writing a review? Because since October 2022 he has only refunded $50 despite her following up many times over the years and he has now blocked her from this business page. Bob, please do the right thing and refund her the remaining $350 that was agreed upon. This is not a great way to run a business. To future brides, I hope he doesn’t do this to you.

After leaving a review in this FB we have been blocked. So I will leave it here as well. I attended a wedding back in 2022 - I witnessed the DJ being very unprofessional, he was on a personal call and was even shouting at someone on that call while at my friends wedding. I wasnt going to say anything as the owner and my friend came to an agreement to refund just the deposit as that was fair, not the full amount, just the deposit for all the mishaps on his end for her big day. She got a random venmo months after for just $50 and has since ghosted her nearly 3 years later! If you've had great experiences with this DJ, that's great - however, when the owner promises to refund $400 and just sends $50 and proceeds to NOT COMMUNICATE with the bride that he promised that to for YEARS and then blocks her when she asks for the money back that was promised is severely unprofessional and I will never recommend this DJ for any of my friends getting married in the future.

We just got married a week ago and Bob was amazing. Was very accommodating, energetic & passionate! He played great music and kept the party going all night! You won’t be disappointed if you hire him!

Bob was by far the best wedding DJ my wife and I could have asked for. Full of energy and excitement, Bob kept the dance floor lively the entire night and was such a joy to work with! 10/10 would recommend him without hesitation!

If you or someone you know is planning a wedding, they NEED to book with 5 Star! Bob made our day so incredibly special. From being the calming presence before our ceremony, making sure everything was taken care of, announcing every event so our guests were involved, to making sure our dance floor was jam packed the entire night! He really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time and that we were taken care of! He absolutely nailed the vibe we requested with the playlist he created! I would recommend Bob and 5 Star to anyone wanting to have a fantastic night!
