As a wedding photographer, I first met Kelly of Kelly Elizabeth Events and Stratton 8 years ago. From the start, we loved working together. Honestly, there was never any doubt who we’d choose to plan our own wedding. Kelly coordinated our small civil ceremony and dinner party for our first wedding, and then went on to plan our 40-person, three-day destination wedding in Tuscany. Kelly found the venue, booked our vendors, designed the entire week and handled every detail. She truly did everything - from curating and building our welcome bags, to checking in our guests, and executing her flawless designs. When travel delays made us 10 hours late to day one, she pivoted seamlessly and still gave us the wedding of our dreams. When you look at our photos you'll understand why we're obsessed. Not only is Kelly incredibly organized and thorough, but she's also a talented designer with impeccable taste. She took our wild, whimsical, colorful palette of ideas and transformed it into the vibe we were looking for, all while remaining utterly true to US. Her design for each of our events blew our minds and we really cannot thank her enough. Kelly is our go-to—we refer her to all of our clients, collaborate on every editorial we can, and we love her to death. We could talk endlessly about how amazing Kelly is. If you're on the fence about hiring a planner, take the leap and hire Kelly immediately. We took on the challenge of building a venue and had no idea when we started how much work it would be. Luckily we were introduced to Kelly when we only had a location and she guided and worked with us over seven months to build our dream wedding. After the day we repeatedly said to each other we never could have accomplished that ourselves or in a way that we loved as much as we did with the end result. Kelly's middle name should be organization. Once we hired her she provided us with timelines, created and continuously updated a budget, got to know us so she could then recommend vendors and worked with a couple vendors we already had. Naturally one vendor we pre selected ourselves was a little difficult/not meeting timelines and Kelly never voiced frustration but tackled the issues that came up and still assisted us with working with that vendor. We were thrilled with the vendors Kelly recommended that we hired. She was with us on all of the consultation and later zoom meetings, calls, tastings, site and vendor visits to help coordinate, take notes, and make sure the overall vision and aesthetic matched. Her services were so much more than we expected. She also provided amazing guidance with the design. We answered questions and described what we liked and she curated linen and decor options. We still selected everything but she catered to our wishes so the ultimate result was stunning and in a way we know we could never have accomplished without her. We also had a big change the week of the wedding with one of our dads not being able to attend and several last minute drops. She made sure we didn't have table settings for no show guests, but most importantly she notified all of our vendors about the change with my dad. She coordinated with our videographer so that the wedding could be streamed for him. It's hard to put into words how appreciative we are that she was able to do that so he could watch and actually hear the ceremony. On the day we were able to actually enjoy it becuase we knew she was there handling details, watching the timeline and acting as our point person. Her team was incredible and we're so grateful to Ashley, Paula and everyone else for there help that day and throughout the process. Above all, we just really just liked Kelly. She's kind, funny and down to earth. She's insanely good at her job, talented, creative and organized. After the wedding was over we both separately thought how we were disappointed we wouldn't get to continue working with her. So, do yourself a favor and hire here so you can get to!
Hiring Kelly was easily the BEST decision we made in the wedding planning process. When we first met with her, we loved how organized, detail-oriented, and clear she and her team were. I tend to get anxiety over logistics/details, and I always felt like she and her team hit everything out of the park. They made things feel far less daunting to us over the past year of planning. The best part about working with Kelly is that she knows all the best vendors - they don't just do great work, but they're also a pleasure to work with and go out of their way to get to know you and make the day special for you. Cut to the wedding weekend itself -- everything was STUNNING and truly reflected our personalities and even my culture. Our guests kept asking us "how does she do it?!" because she and her team were juggling a million things and doing it completely calm, cool, and collected. I especially appreciated how her team and the rest of our vendors were so positive and kind to our guests. Can't recommend Kelly, Paula, and the rest of the team enough!!!
Hiring Kelly was the best decision I have ever made. She is AMAZING. I had a tented wedding with 150 people at my in laws home and Kelly brought my vision to life. Kelly's responsiveness, attention to detail, and organization made the process easy and enjoyable. I had so many little details that needed to be setup and she executed flawlessly. Kelly is always so calm and kind, and when problems came up she handled quietly and I had no idea. She went so above and beyond for me and my wedding day, I can't thank her enough. My day was so wonderful and stress free because of Kelly and her team. HIGHLY recommend Kelly to any bride!!
Wo soll ich anfangen? Meine Hochzeit wäre ohne Kelly nicht einmal zustande gekommen. Ernsthaft. Lassen Sie mich damit anfangen, dass ich die erstaunlichste Hochzeit überhaupt hatte. Einen Monat später sagen mir immer noch Leute, dass es die beste Hochzeit war, zu der sie je gegangen sind. Ich übernahm die Aufgabe, eine Gartenhochzeit in meinem eigenen Garten zu planen, ohne zu realisieren, wie viel Arbeit das wäre...das war der Moment, in dem ich Kelly eingestellt habe. Sie ging über alle Erwartungen hinaus. Sie war so nett und so professionell. Und jetzt zum lustigen Teil... Ich hatte eine Menge verschiedener Dienstleister, die sie koordinieren musste... nicht einfach!! Von den Anbietern war der wichtigste einer, der den Tag fast ruiniert hätte!! Die Firma, die Tische, Stühle, Leinen usw. bereitstellte, war völlig unorganisiert. (er ist tatsächlich kurz nach meiner Hochzeit insolvent geworden) Es ist wirklich zu viel, um es überhaupt zu erklären, aber Kelly musste die Tische wirklich in letzter Minute decken, Dinge fehlten, der Generator hatte kein Gas. Ich könnte noch weiter fortfahren. Kelly hat alles gerichtet und ich hatte keine Ahnung, dass überhaupt etwas schief gelaufen wäre. Sie koordinierte meine gesamte Zeremonie und den Empfang, hielt alles im Zeitplan, packte nach der Hochzeit all meine Sachen ein und so viel mehr! Sie hat aus etwas, das SUPER stressig/ eine komplette Katastrophe gewesen wäre, Perfektion gemacht. Ich bin sicher, sie war die ganze Zeit kurz davor, die Fassung zu verlieren, aber man hätte es nie gemerkt!! Ehrlich gesagt war ich skeptisch, als ich versucht habe, eine Hochzeitsplanerin auszuwählen. Es ist eine Menge Druck, den man einer Person auferlegt. Kelly ist die Richtige!! Sie ist die Beste!! Sie ist definitiv im richtigen Beruf!! Ich muss es noch einmal sagen...ohne sie wäre meine Hochzeit ruiniert gewesen. Dass sie mir geholfen hat, hat meinen Tag gerettet, und ich könnte ihr gar nicht dankbarer sein.
