We had a wonderful experience working with Pedro Araujo to train our two 1-year-old Labrador retrievers. He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and effective in helping us understand our dogs and set consistent routines. What stood out most was how he included our young boys in the training sessions—he made them feel confident and capable, and they’ve really taken ownership in helping with the dogs’ care and behavior. We called Mr. Araujo looking for help with getting our new stray dog to get along with our other four dogs. He came over and after talking to us and meeting our dogs he came up with plan. He taught us after several sessions how to "read" a dogs behavior and how to react. We learned techniques that involved eating, walking, and integrating our dogs behavior. They now all get along. We had recently adopted a stray dog.. we found him running the neighborhood. He was a pit bull.. We already had 4 other dogs and needed help integrating him with our dogs. Mr. Araujo not only showed us the techniques but taught us the correct manner and techniques to do just that. He taught us how to understand dogs and read their demeanor. Pete did a fantastic job at training my all my dogs. We have a older Malamute Shepard mix a two year old Pit Bull and a Doberman Puppy. The Malamute Shepard and the Pit Bull did not get along and Pit Bull did not like the Doberman puppy. We had to keep them separated just to keep the peace. I hired Pete and at the end of training all of our dogs were walking on the same leash! I would definitely recommend A Better Canine 4 U for all your dog training needs.
