My wife and I stopped into A Bite of Maine and were blown away by how good everything was. We ordered the Connecticut lobster rolls, and they were absolutely delicious—perfectly warm, buttery, and packed with fresh lobster. It’s rare to find rolls that taste this authentic outside of New England, but these easily rival the ones we’ve had on our trips through Connecticut and Rhode Island. We also tried the shrimp platter, which was just as impressive. Everything was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and served hot. And we have to mention the crab roll—it was so delicious, sweet, and fresh that it quickly became one of our favorites of the entire meal. The portions were generous, the staff was friendly, and the whole experience made us want to come back as soon as possible. If you’re craving real East Coast seafood flavor, A Bite of Maine is the place to go.

My boyfriend and I went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We will definitely be returning customers! The lobster rolls were loaded up with lobster meat and the flavor was simple and delicious! You can tell this place is a staple in the community as it was plenty busy, even for a late Sunday afternoon. Service was quick and the staff were super friendly as well. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to fulfill their lobster roll cravings, or for those who are just wanting to try something new.

The lobster and crab rolls were AMAZING. The special on Thursday on the mix or match rolls is a great deal. We have went the last 2 trips down and it was hands down my favorite meal. If we were local we would definitely go often!

Tried this place for lunch while visiting VB and it didn’t disappoint. We had lobster rolls, haddock and chips, and haddock bites and fries. Great taste and food was fresh, serving portions were good too. The guy who took our order was very friendly and gave us great suggestions.

I went on a Thursday when their hours were 11am to 2pm. Check their hours before you go! My family member recommended this place. I'm not from Maine, and I've never been. So, I can't provide a reference to their Maine authenticity. HOWEVER, the food was delicious. I had their Maine lobster roll, rock crab roll, and chowder of the day. The bread on both rolls was toasted and buttered. The lobster and crab were fresh and plentiful. The chowder was not very thick (but I didn't mind that as I'm lactose intolerant), AND they offered taste samples of the chowder. The restaurant was VERY BUSY! The line was all the way to the door the entire time. From 1:50pm until 2pm, patrons literally jogged or ran to get inside before they closed. Do not miss this gem. Treat yourself. The price is spot on for the portion size and freshness. I can't wait to go back. (I was visiting the area) I have not been compensated in any way for this review
