First time here and Omar was my barber. I showed him a pix of a look I was after and he took his time and sculpted a masterpiece. Besides a faded cut and style, he did a great job with my unruly beard. He applied a facial mask and to top it off, I had my nostrils and ears waxed. A warm towel to the face afterwards. Definitely going back.
Great atmosphere, beautiful shop, and great quality service. Omar did an excellent job on my fade today. Will definitely be returning frequently!
Great shop with a clean setting and a relaxed professional vibe. Every visit has been consistently solid. After my first cut I knew I’d found my regular spot and I’ve been coming back every couple of weeks since they opened. Aziz delivers every time. Whether you’re visiting New Orleans or you live here and need a dependable barber this is the place to go. Highly recommend.
I walked in to the barbershop and the guy with the curly hair and beard that sits on the right side by the waiting area took care of me. I asked for a length off the beard and a line-up. When he started lining me up before taking down the beard, I thought that was kind of odd. He then started lining me up with the trimmer and straighter and didn’t even lay back the chair. Due to this, I got nicked on the side of my face, and my cheek and bottom line-up wasn’t straight and even. He also left shave gel on my face and didn’t put aftershave at the end of the cut. I do not think this line-up was worth $40.
New Orleans, business trip, hair in shambles. Google whispered A2Z Barber Shop on Magazine Street, and baby, I obeyed. I step inside and—oh. my. god. Four barbers, all Latino, all sharp fades and tighter jeans. The kind of lineup that makes you suddenly forget your appointment was for a haircut and not an audition for your next bad decision. My guy barely had to ask—he ran those hands through my fringe, muttered “number two on the sides?” and I almost melted right into the chair. Quick, precise, and way too sexy for clippers. The place is clean, the music smooth, and I’m just sitting there thinking: can we please drag this out a little longer? The cut? Perfect. Under fifty bucks. The memory of those barbers? Priceless. And trust me—I’ll be back, but it won’t just be for the hair.
