My wife and I started Spanish lessons with Angel Haya a few months ago. He has made the class fun and enjoyable. He is very flexible and understanding with scheduling. More importantly, he is patient with us and makes us feel comfortable. We continue to look for to our classes with him.
Angel was an incredibly kind and patient teacher - the one you need for your intro to spanish class where you are learning spanish for the first time to speak to your future in-laws :)
I recently had the pleasure of taking Turkish language lessons with ABC Languages, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of instruction and the practicality of the lessons. From day one, the instructors at ABC Languages were friendly, approachable, and eager to help me learn Turkish. They covered an appropriate amount of detail, built on previous lessons, and got me speaking the basics quickly. What I appreciated most about the lessons was how practical they were. The instructors focused on real-world situations and conversations, which made the learning experience much more engaging and enjoyable. They were also very patient with me, and always made sure to answer any questions I had. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with ABC Languages, and I would highly recommend their Turkish language lessons to anyone looking to learn the language quickly and effectively. Not only are the teachers top-notch, fun and flexible, but the director of the school knows her stuff when it comes to helping bicultural families who want to teach their kids a heritage language. She advised my family when my husband wanted to learn Brazilian Portuguese before our wedding in Brazil, and later with our daughter's journey in the language. I've sent other mixed culture families there, and everyone agrees that it's no ordinary language school. Really amazing that it's not expensive!
When I needed to improve my Spanish language skills in order to better serve the library public I was so glad I found ABC Languages. Juan's class was informative, fun and engaging. By working with him and the other students in my class I was able to gain what I needed to feel more confident helping Spanish-speaking patrons.
