I’ve been coming to Aer for a couple months, working privately with Jenn. I’d done Pilates before and came with expectations for how the practice could help me with disability and chronic pain. It turns out, I had a lot to learn, because Jenn is changing my life. She is a precise, adaptive and incredibly knowledgeable instructor who has helped me counteract the disability and mobility issues that have been plaguing me for years. I feel so safe, seen, and empowered by my sessions with Jenn and I encourage anyone - from fitness enthusiasts to more complex cases like me - to give this place a try!
The owner, Jenn, is incredibly knowledgeable about human anatomy and brings a fresh perspective to Pilates in terms of rehabilitation. I’ve dealt with a number of issues due to hyper-mobility, and Jenn knows exactly how to work with bodies that have complexities. The small class size (3 reformers maximum) allows for personalized attention and the ability to give hands-on adjustments, whereas many other studios can have anywhere from 8 - 20 reformers. I’ve been to a few other studios, and while the vibes are great, sometimes are too fast-paced or complex for someone who is in the process of rehabbing their body. Jenn’s classes are still challenging but she brings a unique care and attention by personalizing each persons class experience according to what they have going on in their body. I can’t recommend her enough!
AER Pilates is truly a masterpiece! The studio is beautifully designed, welcoming, and the perfect space to build strength and mobility. Jen is the best—her energy is unmatched! She brings so much knowledge, passion, and attention to detail, making every class both challenging and fun. Whether you’re new to Pilates or experienced, AER (especially with Jen) is the place to be. Highly recommend!
I knew I had to try this place as soon as I found out about it…I mean how cool…pilates and aerial silks in one place and combo classes?! The owner Jenn is such a wonderful person, and it’s super cool to see her true happiness living out her dream and sharing it with others. I have now had the opportunity to take a pilates class, silks class and the combo class of the two and have loved all of them. Jenn gives modifications for wherever you are at. As soon as I heard that there was going to be a studio opening that's offering Aerial Silks, Pilates, and Aerial/Pilates combo classes, I was sold. I've taken Pilates before and it is not only so good for you at any stage of life, but especially a great compliment and support to training for Aerial Silks. I am one of the Founding Members, and have been really enjoying the perks that are included with it, like 3 private lessons, unlimited classes each month, first choice when new classes open up, and discounts for accessories. I've had 2 private sessions with Jen so far and I already am noticing more awareness in my body in regards to posture(I tend to hold tension in my shoulders), and have been working on carrying my body in a more balanced way. We have worked on some excellent strengthening exercises for my hips and pelvic floor, and several good upper body stretches and exercises. Jen is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I'm really looking forward to getting stronger, having better posture, and improving my Aerial Silks practice!
