The registration staff was wonderful. Very timely and kind. The first lady that took my vitals was super sweet and understanding. When the doctor came in he was very quick to send me to the emergency room. I explained my situation and how this has happened before, and I do not think it is necessary. I work at a diagnostic imaging center. If he could write an order, I could get an immediate answer without charge. The ER was not only unnecessary, but very expensive compared to free and immediate care. He refused to listen and even made up symptoms that I told him I did not have. It is frustrating as a woman to even consider going to a doctor when you get treatment like this. I almost did not go because while I was in immense pain, I had a fear that I would not be taken seriously. Unfortunately, I was correct.
My check in was easy. The person who called me back and took my information was very nice and professional. My only complaint was the length of time I had to wait for the doctor to come in to see what I needed. He was very professional and thorough. The Nurse who took my blood was great plus professional.
I have been in your clinic 2 or 3 times since May 2025 and every time I have been in it has been WONDERFUL!! The minute I walked in the door until the moment I left the entire staff was kind, friendly and very welcoming! The Dr and PA’s had a great and caring bedside manner! I highly recommend your clinic to everyone! Thank you for such a wonderful experience and keep up the excellent care!♥️
I have gone to this location several times and I only ever go back due to proximity. I have never seen anyone there walk with any purpose. It's always quiet. Nobody is in any hurry. I have received adequate care, yes. Never in less than two hours, though. If they hadn't already taken my copay, I would have gone to Summit Express Clinic after spending too long in the waiting area. The receptionist is always rude as well. After decades of working in healthcare, I say all of these things with the knowledge of experience. They really should do better and care more about people who are ill. If they aren't capable, they shouldn't be in healthcare.
Extremely happy with the care that Mr. B Chalstrom, PA gave me and my daughter. He had excellent bedside manner & ACTUALLY LISTENED TO ALL MY CONCERNS & then addressed them with answers and explanations as to why he chose the medication he did to treat our condition. The nurse was very friendly and the staff were friendly and very helpful,even after our visit. AFC has always been very thorough with their examinations and they have always had GREAT PROVIDERS here and at the Athens, Tn location. I would 100% recommend this facility.
