This review is NOT personal. Mariano is a gentleman and professional engineer. No complains there, but Almao Decks and Fence is refusing to complete the work as per contact (April 3rd, 2025) and key terms mutually agreed upon during in-person meeting held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, Alamo Fence’s San Antonio office. update (July 5th, 2025) Thank you for your reply, Mariano. To clarify: this issue is not limited to gate picket sizing. It’s about honoring the two clear options we mutually discussed and agreed to during our in-person meeting on May 6th, 2025, at your office. I continue to stand by those terms, which you proposed and I accepted in good faith. Your attempt to walk them back after project delays and incomplete work is unacceptable. This experience has been deeply frustrating. I have since engaged the BBB (Complaint ID 23506200) and will pursue legal action if necessary. I advise any future customers to document everything, in writing, and proceed with caution.
Sonny arrived on time took great notes on what I wanted. The quote was fair for the work involved. The crew arrived as scheduled, was very courteous and did a great job on the install. I have used Alamo twice before and will use them again.
Alamo Decks and Fence team did a great job. Installation of a new cedar wood fence was done fast and without any issues. Team friendly and professional, price was reasonable and great communication with sales representative. I will recommend this company to friends and family.
I bought a new house recently and the builder fence that was there couldn’t keep my dogs contained. They chewed right through the thin boards. I called for a quote and Sonny came out the very same day. By the end of that same day I had quotes for three different options we had discussed. I decided to go with the board on board fence and by the next Thursday (had a rain delay) my fence was fully installed. I couldn’t be happier. It looks great and it’s keeping my dogs inside.
