I have a beautiful, centruy-old carved table that used to belong to my grandparents. Over the years it had been damaged, with some parts cracked and others missing. Andrew did a wonderful job of repairing, replacing and strengthening it. I never remember it looking so good. He's a real craftsman and you can trust him to do right by you.
Andrew has repaired two pieces for me, a large heirloom antique mirror with intricate filigree that was cracked, and the door to a very expensive media stand that my son cracked down the front. Both times he was professional and meticulous. His work is beautiful and the pieces look like new. He’s extremely nice and fair and I would trust him with any of my woodworking needs. I’m so glad I found him!
Andrew is a true craftsman one of a kind. He restored an Antique rocking chair from my wife that was passed down to her. If you were looking to have anything repaired or made this is the man to have it done by he’s very professional and kind. He takes great pride and showing you his past and how it came who he is. I have an antique ladder back arm chair that was made in Connecticut in the late 1600's. It had a partially broken back slat. Andrews was able to recreate the broken piece, flawlessly mend it to the original part of the partially broken slat and then perfectly color match it to the old patina. It was was exceptional and I could not be more pleased! Andrew is a true artisan of the highest quality. I would highly recommed Andrew for all your antique wood carving, repair and restoration needs. In addition, he is the nicest person you would ever want to meet. It truly cares about his work and his customers.
Andrew is truly a wonderful craftsman. His work is impeccable. We have an antique chair, part of a dining room suite that was in my wife’s family. It was split into pieces and he repaired it better than it was. He also refinished a small table to where it was back probably when it was made. I would recommend A & M Woodcarving to anyone who has cherished antique furniture in need of repair or refinishing.
