I will never be able to say enough great things about AELO! We booked the Event Management package. Carolyn was our primary contact, and she had Cierra join as her assistant on our wedding day. 10 gold stars to both of them! A thousand A+s! Screaming my praises! I was able to totally relax and enjoy every single moment of our PERFECT day thanks to Carolyn and Cierra, which is seriously invaluable. With our package, we didn't start working too closely with Carolyn until about a month out from our wedding. However, when I had a million questions about vendors and contracts and day of logistics leading up to that time, Carolyn was always super quick to respond and never made me feel like I was being annoying. She made our walkthrough, planning meeting and rehearsal run SO smoothly; she is a WOMAN WITH A PLAN! On our wedding day, Carolyn kept that same energy and did not disappoint! I have told all of my friends that I was able to be so completely present with my husband (!!) that day and genuinely did not have to think about anything. She handled everything for us. Our package included the obvious things - like set-up, vendor coordination, clean-up, etc. But Carolyn didn’t stop there! She helped fluff my train before I walked down the aisle, managed the DIY uplights that we decided to add in at the last minute, prioritized alone time for my husband and I immediately after the ceremony, and monitored the weather while we were taking our First Look pictures to make a decision if we’d need to use our rain plan. Carolyn even made an ADORABLE behind-the-scenes Instagram reel with some highlights of our big day. This was totally unexpected - and made me cry the next day when I saw it! It was such a gift to be able to relive our day (almost immediately!) while we waited for our professional photos/videos to be ready. All of our vendors - from makeup to photo to the venue itself - echoed our sentiments; Carolyn and her team were just stellar to work with. My dad also said about 1,000 times - “Carolyn is AWESOME!” She is so organized, easy to get along with, flexible, approachable and detail-oriented. She kept everything moving on schedule without being pushy. Easily one of the best decisions we made with our wedding! THANK YOU!!!!! AELO was truly the best team we could have ever worked with in managing our wedding day! We knew we wanted to work with a day-of team for our wedding but were having such a hard time finding any group that fit our needs, considering so many places in the city charge absurd amounts and often want you to use them for full planning services. So, on a whim, we asked for help on social media and were lucky enough to have AELO recommended to us! We had a quick call with Amy to get a rundown and knew immediately we were going to work well with their team. We were matched with Carolyn to manage our wedding day and to say she was the absolute BEST wouldn’t do her justice. As mentioned on her profile on their website, she truly was the GOAT in managing our wedding and made us feel like a huge weight was lifted off our shoulders. She was so organized and helpful in every meeting with us, from our early coffee talks, to the rehearsal and walkthrough, all the way through our wedding day. She is truly amazing and so lovely to work with, and cared so much about us and our day and making it a success. We had such a good time working with Lauren and the AELO team. Lauren was so calm and professional on our day, and helped us create and execute our schedule. My husband and I are pretty type B non-planners, so it was great to have her keeping us on track and prepared for the big day. I would totally recommend working with AELO. If you book them you will be in good hands!
We cannot recommend working with AELO more! Lauren was incredibly responsive and attentive to every detail. She took the stress off of us the second we met her. She created a timeline and communicated with our vendors to make sure everyone knew exactly what to do, and that helped us to be present and enjoy the most incredible day of our lives! If you’re on the fence about a day of coordinator, let this review push you to the other side. Best investment for our wedding day.
I got married on May 13th, 2023 and had AELO as our coordinator for the day, and they went above and beyond our expectations! We had Lauren and Rachel help coordinate our wedding. They met with us multiple times before the wedding date to make sure we had everything planned and that we weren't missing anything. Not only did she put it all into a finalized time-line for us, and email it to all of our vendors, but she also was able to give suggestions when needed and helped us with anything we needed. She was very hands-on on wedding day and made sure everything behind the scenes was taken care of so we could just enjoy our day. I honestly don't know what our day would have ended up like if we didn't have such a kind, organized, professional, experienced coordinators to help us throughout the whole process. I highly recommend AELO for your wedding day!!
