Having used this company for years I have now been badly let down. I ordered, wine & champagne glasses, plates, cutlery and chaffing dishes. By 5pm when event started I had still not received my order. I had been calling and emailing them since 11am asking where it was. No reply. The driver called me after 5pm whle I was busy serving my corporate clients event. The driver wanted me to run over to the other side of George square to collect this late order as he didnt know how to get to the other side of the square. Yes, a professional delivery driver folks. I refused and rejected the request to do his job as the event had started and I was in the middle of cooking and serving it on borrowed plates, cutlery and glassware. I tried to get a refund on the hire of over £400 but was refused because they said they thought the event was the next day even though I had asked for it to be uplifted next morning. He said he believed it was for breakfast meeting and so somehow its my fault. I asked why i would want wine and champage glasses to a top accountancy firm for a breakfast meeting. He shrugged. Now 2 months later I receive a cheque for £200. Not even half of what I am due. Wilsons. You have robbed me. Your mistake, you should pay me compo not steal that money from me. SHAME ON YOU. Ive had single invoices from you for as much as £3000 for events in the past. You'll never get another job from my company again and after being a chef in Edinburgh for almost 40 years your reputation will take a beating from me to anyone who cares to listen.

When covid destroyed our original wedding plans Andrew Wilson helped us do it at home in our garden. Glasses, tables, chairs, cutlery and the all important water urn for coffees! All delivered and picked up painlessly and at a good price. Highly recommended. Martin Tait
