I've been going to Apex for a little over a year & a half and cannot recommend it enough. Lennox has helped me to be in better shape in my late 30s than I was in my 20s. I've done different programs over the years in class format, individually at the gym, and individually at home. Nothing else has helped to provide the right balanced program such that I'm progressing in the direction I want to go, avoiding injury, and not causing myself additional back pain from poorly balanced programming. I highly recommend Apex!
I have been working with Alex for about two years and have made measurable progress on my strength, flexibility, and joint mobility. I thought I knew basic weight lifting exercises but Alex taught me many details about correct form and technique which has allowed me to get much more out of my workouts. He has also encouraged me to push myself harder through slowly building up strength to tackle bigger goals. The trainers are super knowledgeable about exercise, diet, and mobility. My shoulder was bothering me and Alex worked to increase mobility and gradually strengthen the muscles to where it is in great shape today. I like that the trainers are usually working with two people at once as I don’t need someone just watching me do every rep and if I am doing something wrong then Alex will let me know. It’s a great business model as it keeps the prices reasonable for personalized training. Very friendly community and I highly recommend APEX Midtown.
I've trained at Apex for around 2 years. I've gotten stronger and more confident in that time. The most practical changes I've noticed is being able to carry WAY more up the stairs at my house and getting consistent movement in the week even though I work from home.
