This is a fantastic studio!! It is the ONLY place in the greater Vancouver area that teaches classical sculpture technique, from foundation building up to écorché (sculptures of musculature). You progress at a rate proportional to the effort and time you commit. There are a mix of students with different degrees of experience. Some are working on their art school portfolios, some are in animators, and others are committed amateurs.

Misha is a great artist and a great teacher. Every sculpting class feels both meditative and informative. My knowledge of both anatony and how to work with clay has sky rocketed. I'd highly suggest taking classes here :)

I have been taking classes here for over 2 years now and my skills have developed considerably. If only I had found out about this place sooner! The teacher, Misha, is incredibly knowledgeable and extremely patient. I have always felt I was in very good hands since the first day I came to class. Over the past two years I have developed my drawing and sculpting skills tremendously due entirely to Misha and his efforts guiding and instructing me. If you are even slightly debating taking classes then do yourself a favour and try it out!
