The course was highly enjoyable and provided a comprehensive understanding of the tools and techniques necessary for drawing.It is well-structured yet relaxed and informal. You will leave with a range of exercises and techniques to explore various drawing methods.The two-hour dedicated drawing sessions are particularly liberating.Anne is helpful, patient and non-judgemental in her teaching. She explains concepts clearly and concisely.I would highly recommend Anne as a teacher.

I am so grateful to a friend who recommended Anne’s Art classes at the Parsonage gardens rectory. I felt welcomed and included by Anne who naturally creates a friendly , creative space , focused space . I have attended for some years, and have always been warmly welcomed back after gaps with clear prompt communication from Anne at all stages of the way. I love how Anne includes inspiration from other artists ; past and present ; a full range of use of materials and ,I have gained confidence in my own work and experimenting with styles and materials. Annes art classes encourage incremental experimentation with various materials, styles, and techniques. These are developed in a supportive environment via themed subject matter. You are free to take on board as much or as little as you like. There are no rigid rules of constraint. At the same time, Annes' depth of knowledge and experience enables her to give personalised guidance, should you have a particular approach you wish to pursue. Through her classes, I have greatly widened my range of techniques, increased my confidence, and rekindled my love of creating artistic outcomes.
