I wanted to do a special activity for my birthday with my friends. Artmagic set up a class just for us and we had a blast! If you haven't done this DO IT!!!! We all loved it and have a beautiful piece of art!!

I attended a workshop at Art Magic that ended in what I'd call freak accident - craft paint in my eye and all over my face. The pump of the bottle had either not been used or had clumped up (kind of like lotion pumps do when opened but unused), causing the paint to dry inside the tip and clump. After pumping it multiple times, it finally gave way and squirted in multiple directions, including directly in my right eye. With the help of my husband, I was able to flush most of it out of my eye before it got sticky - this is NOT water color type paint that kids use, it's very thick. Kay, while kind and genuinely concerned, was unprepared and did not have an eyewash station or flushing solution available which should be mandatory for running an arts and crafts type of business. She went on to continue teaching the workshop as if nothing had happened. Thankfully, I did not require emergency care, but did have to purchase rinsing solution for my eye - it's still irritated and swollen, but no concerns beyond that. Kay did reach out later, after the class ended, to check in and offered a resolution, which I appreciated and felt was the most appropriate thing. That is why I am leaving 2 stores, otherwise it would have been 1. While I would be willing to give Art Magic another try, I'm not sure when that will be.

I really enjoyed the two workshops I attended. Kay is awesome - a great teacher, artist and thoughtful person. Came with some girlfriends for a fun and creative afternoon for a dried flowers class and then a resin session.

Love this art studio! Our private event experience was fantastic. We had so much fun and our geode coasters and ornaments are beautiful! We were all beginners and it was so easy to follow along. Pasha was a wonderful instructor. We will definitely be back for more events.
