Overall, we had an amazing experience with Art of the Dog. We honestly can’t recommend them enough. We have a very large 9 month old Spanish Mastiff pup, Gordon. He is a very energetic and very large (and gorgeous) pup. When we first got him, we struggled with his behavior. He was digging in the yard (eating every twig and bush and tree in sight), barking constantly, and had terrible leash manners. The 3 week basic obedience board and train program has been a complete game changer for him. Gordon is still the same loving goofball, but now we finally feel in control. After completing the program his leash behavior has completely improved, he comes when called, and his sit and down commands are spot on. The place bed is a great bonus! During his stay, the team provided consistent updates, excellent communication, and showed true professionalism, patience, and care. Gordon came home happy and well-behaved. We highly recommend Art of the Dog to anyone looking for quality training and care for their pup.

Big shout out to the Art Of The dog staff, especially the trainers that we worked with CJ and Will, they were incredible. We took our pup, Cinny to AOD for the three week behavioral program and we were very impressed by the progress made. Cinny was fearful and aggressive when we adopted her with an unknown past. We were very overwhelmed, but immediately at ease once we met with Ian and learned more about their program and that we weren’t alone in our situation. Throughout the program, the AOD staff was extremely communicative and put us at ease. We were thrilled to see the improvements Cinny had made in such a short time. We also leverage AOD for their boarding and We wouldn’t trust our pup with anyone else.

Truly have no words with how much our pup has changed, in the most positive way. Zep was super anxious & had become aggressive with other dogs. After 3 weeks with Art of the Dog he is a new pup. He’s calm and we can take him on walks with zero stress. Melanie, Sami, & CJ did an incredible job with our pup and we couldn’t be happier. We would 100% recommend them. Every part of the process was smooth & communication was clear. Thank you for all the work put into Zeppelin.

We just finished a three-week training program with our 18-month-old adopted Doberman and it was one of the best decisions we’ve made. From the initial consult, the team took the time to answer all of our questions and really understand our goals. We also appreciated the continued communication and support from everyone throughout the process. Adonis was always a good boy, but this training has made everyday life so much easier and more enjoyable. Walks are now calm and relaxed, he’s responsive on the leash, and he cues into us instead of reacting to everything around him. One of the biggest improvements has been when people come over. We used to worry because he felt the need to protect us, but now he can calmly greet friends and guests like the sweet, well-mannered boy he is. We’re so grateful for this experience and would highly recommend this training to anyone looking to build a stronger bond and enjoy life more with their dog.

Sorry this review is way overdue, but I really want to share how grateful we are for Art of the Dog. Our rescue pup Cooper came to us with pretty serious PTSD. We had already tried a few trainers before, but nothing really worked—he was still so anxious and shut down. Thankfully we found Art of the Dog, and after their three-week program the change has been incredible. Cooper is more confident, calmer, and so much happier. What made the biggest difference is that we finally learned how to communicate with him better. Because of that, he trusts us more and we understand each other in a way we never did before. We’re beyond thankful to the amazing trainers here. This program gave Cooper a fresh start and gave us hope as his family. If you’ve got a rescue dog who’s been through trauma, I can’t recommend Art of the Dog enough—it’s truly a game changer.
