My teen loved finding a place where they could explore freely, not follow detailed instructions on creating the same thing as everyone else. There are a wide variety of media to explore and students are encouraged to experiment while also being allowed to focus if they want. The environment is welcoming and accepting and the students have a good rapport with each other and easily included my kid in the group even though they were new this semester. We're definitely returning in the spring!
Lucas and Rachel are amazing teachers and the semester art class I enrolled my kiddo in was so much more educational and collaborative than I expected! She had so much fun.
2nd time we had a bday party here and it is a great place for your child’s party. They handle everything and the kids are busy and engaged in the fun projects. Bringing your own food/snacks for after cleanup time is quick and easy.
All three of my children has incredible experiences with ArtSpark this summer. They came home each day energized and excited to share with me what they worked on, and were so eager to present on their last day of full day camp. “Art Show!” They were so proud of all they accomplished. My children are not all “artsy,”, reflecting the fact that this place is for every child. Ms. Sarah was the highlight across the three weeks we were engaged. My children felt so supported by her and couldn’t wait to see her again. Thank you Sarah and Art Spark!
My children and I love this place! I’ve been bringing my kids here since 2014. All three of them have participated in the Creative Playground and thoroughly enjoyed it. My oldest son is now 9 and also participated in the camps and asks when he can go back. My daughter (5) gets into a creation zone when she’s there and gets fixated on the different crafting stations. My youngest is almost 2 and takes full advantage of the sensory experiences. I love how children are able to wander and explore each art station, without a formal agenda. I always leave with new ideas for art supplies to get for the kids (there are so many at ArtSPARK!) or sensory bins I can create at home after leaving the studio, too!
