Absolutely wonderful afternoon in the San Diego harbor sailing with Athena Charters. Staff was friendly and highly competent; the boat was clean/ new/ and huge; and our group had a relaxing fun afternoon. Highly recommend

My company recently chartered one of Athena’s large catamarans for an event. I can’t say enough about the crew - incredibly friendly and helpful. The captain did a great job steering us into the wake of other water crafts to minimize rocking for the passengers, and the route he took gave us beautiful views of the bay from multiple angles! I’ll definitely use them in the future and recommend them for anyone who is looking to host a unique event that shows off the beauty of San Diego’s bay.

We chartered the Athena for a company event (small group of 18) and it was so perfect ! We had 95% chance of rain and they run rain/shine as lon as it’s safe . It barely sprinkled on us ! So lucky with the weather !! The crew was amazing ! We did the taco lunch, open bar and we brought on a chair masseuse . Everyone had a wonderful time. The boat is beautiful and clean and captain and his crew were top notch !! The back end office response was professional and quick too . Highly recommend !

Great experience. While staying at the Gaylord Pacifc we took advantage to the easy marina access right next door and hopped on a lovely catamaran bay tour. I think they offer different lengths but this one was just about 2 hours...the sailing was easy, the views great and we sailed right under the Coronado Bridge. The service was professional and yet not stuffy. Everyone had an easy going hospitality that fit the whole day. Our bartender was too notch making some wonderful cocktails on board to make the sailing even better. A great activity especially if you are at the Gaylord. If you do get motion sick I would advise a patch or pill prior...the boat can rock with other craft in the area but overall it's pretty smooth!!!

What an AMAZING experience we had tonight!! My family rented the Athena Catamaran for a private cruise to have a celebration of life for my wife’s grandfather.. The crew were top notch, the boat was super clean, and the atmosphere was spectacular!! Sunset cruise in San Diego bay topped off with a champagne toast, what a night!! The Captain was extremely accommodating and made sure everything went right. But, the First Mate Mitch literally tended to our every need, we could not have done it without him!! Thank you Mitch. And thank you to the entire crew you made this very special family moment one to remember!
