I wasn’t entirely sure what kind of photos I wanted to take. Marcus helped me understand different types of poses, expressions, backgrounds and how they are perceived and what type of pictures are best for different areas of work. (I.E. traditional headshots vs commercial work.). I don’t have a natural ability to pose or smile on cue. Marcus is excellent at making you smile for real while making sure to gently coach you through where to look and what to do with your hands. I am very happy with the pictures we got and I had a great time taking them. Beyond the skill, professionalism, and quality of the work most of all it’s the ability to capture the honest version of you while still making sure you look good too. That goes beyond taking pictures. That is art.
