We held a semi-formal dance for my daughter’s 16th birthday. We asked DJ Magic Mike to provide the music for the event and he treated us like we were a 5-star client of a high-end hotel resort. DJMM took the time to introduce himself to my daughter over a video conference meeting to discuss the plans for her party. My daughter had a long playlist that could fill the entire 4-hour party. He asked her to organize the songs into a spreadsheet with her choice “background music”, “dance party” and “favorites (MUST play)”. Plus add our intended itinerary for the event - when the buffet line opens, dinner ends, gather for birthday cake, dance time, winding down, etc. This helped DJMM organize the music of the night for the smoothest flow, matching the moments and mood throughout the night. And I have to say, DJMM’s skills at both DJ and MC are fantastic. DJMM is friendly, professional and easy to work with. Very approachable throughout the entire process from meeting to take-down. Even my daughter felt comfortable with him to request any last-minute changes before and during the party. When I was checking out the venue itself weeks before the event date, DJMM asked to be there to get a feel for the space and understand my view of how I wanted the place to be decorated and laid out. He was then able to find an ideal area to set up at for the best sound quality. On the day of the event, he showed up on time with a very helpful and friendly assistant. They set up efficiently and seemingly effortlessly. He was well dressed for the occasion too. He provides high quality equipment - speakers, laser lights, fog machine (unfortunately we couldn’t use it because of venue rules), and even a projector that my daughter hooked up her laptop to for a fun slideshow of her favorite pictures. I could tell that this wasn’t just another job for DJ Magic Mike. He feels passionate about DJ-ing and enjoyed the event too! Definitely will invite him back to my next event.

Michael Galindo (DJ Magic Mike) is one of my favorite DJs in the Bay Area. He is such a delight to be around, always smiling and always friendly. I’m particularly fond of his Latin dance events in the San Jose area. I appreciate his friendship and his charismatic attitude; I highly recommend that you hire him and utilize his taste in music as well as his charming personality for your next event. You won’t regret it. Love to everyone in this amazing community!

I hired DJ Magic Mike for a private event and he did not let me down! He was on time and very professional. Best of all was his music selection he got the crowd going! He can gear the music to whatever it is you like, he specializes in Bachata and Salsa but he also added rap, house and rock upon request, no matter the event or the music you want he will not let you down! Great Bay Area DJ!

Carlos is a wonderful DJ and person. He is thoughtful in his music selection, experienced DJing all over the Bay Area, reliable and professional. Carlos is responsive to requests and adept at feeling the vibe of his audience and creating an atmosphere that inspires people to dance. I highly recommend him for DJing your event.

Carlos is an all around amazing person and DJ. He met up with us prior to our event to get a feel of what we're looking for and to discuss the timeline of everything. He wanted to understand what exactly we want and he delivered. Amazing music kept everybody dancing and having an all around good time throughout the whole night. Would recommend to anyone!
