Visiting San Antonio and on the last evening of the trip we decided to enjoy Indian food so after reading reviews of all the Indian restaurants in SA and surrounding area, Bay Biryanis is the only one with 5 stars and ZERO negative reviews. The owner is down to earth and very welcoming person, he assured that no matter what item we pick it will be the best tasting guaranteed and he was right on the money, we tried chicken 65 (dry version), chicken kabobs, butter chicken, kadai chicken and methi chaman paneer with garlic naan. Everyone was hungry and ready to dig in so the only picture I could take was of chicken 65. 100% best tasting food and service. No fancy decor, no host at the front and no waiters who make you wait for your drinks and food.....just main two rules of business...best food and great friendly service. 2 thumbs up.
Very clean restaurant. They are (January 2026) still new in this location, so decor is still a bit sparse. Don't let that deter you. The service and food were excellent. We ordered a variety of things including Gobi Manchurian, Chicken Lollypops, Saag Paneer, Butter Roti, and Lamb Biryani. Leftovers are always an important part of dining at an Indian place for us. The food was delicious and well prepared. Good portions and spice (heat) levels were just right. We will be back and recommend it highly.
We ordered ghee roast chicken pulav, pachi mirchi paneer pulav and veg noodles and the taste was amazing. It is authentic and felt like home. It is definitely worth the price and the distance. MUST VISIT. Wouldn’t regret.
A must-try spot, no exaggeration. The food is a solid 💯 and the vibes match it perfectly. Do yourself a favor and order the basundi. One spoon in and you’re right back home, the kind of comfort and nostalgia you didn’t know you were craving. And when you get the pachi mari pulao, ask for medium spicy. It’s fiery, it’s mouthwatering, and yes, you might shed a tear or two, but you’ll still keep eating because it’s that good. The kind of spice that hurts a little and heals a lot. Warm, soulful food that stays with you long after the plate is empty.
Great food overall. We tried the chicken noodles, set dosa with lamb curry, and the Pachi Mari pulao. Everything was flavorful and filling. The desserts and beverages were excellent too. Definitely left us in a happy food coma.
