As we were leaving Pittsburgh to head back down to Lancaster we came across this place on google and decided to stop by and try it! We walked in and instantly decided we needed one of everything! The coffees were all incredible and so were the breakfast sandwiches! We got just about every dessert and are so excited to try each of them! The employees were very welcoming and the owner even came out to talk to us for a while! Overall if we are ever in the pittsburgh area again we will be stopping by!!

Their cookies and pastries are always just right. Their sweet scones have the perfect balance of crumble, dry-moist ratio, and lightness and their savory scones similarly have all the qualities that make you realize - it's not that you didn't like savory scones, but rather other places don't know how to make them well - that dry-moist ratio, and bouncy chew?! Balance is the right word for a lot of what makes what they offer phenomenal - the right balance of ingredients, heaviness or lightness, cream to bread, dry to moist, sweet to savory - most everything I've had there is my new favorite version of that thing. Whatever it is. Not a bad item in the selection. The owners and other staff are also on another level. You can buy cupcakes and cookies, but you can't buy the warm, welcoming, community ambience that they've created. I love coming in to tell Mason, Muffin, or Vicki about my holiday plans and stupid family drama just as much as I love getting my coffee and scones. I moved to the region 2.5 years ago now and having this place a few doors down has done wonders for making me feel like I have a home here. I never want to leave this neighborhood because of BB & Bur - they truly are an asset to the community.

I walked past this bakery a number of times before stopping in. This has become a problem for my waist line! Every item I have tried has been delicious. Extensive coffee menu and two small tables inside. Super friendly staff. What a great neighborhood find. When the occasion arises I'm going to order a whole cake. This place is just YUM !

BB&Bur did a FANTASTIC job on the cake for my husband’s birthday party. They were great to coordinate our crazy ideas into a nice cake, communicated well, and created a gorgeous eye-catching cake. The cake also tasted delicious. The cup on the top was all cake, and I loved the slightly darker shading on the bottom. The gold beans are chocolate covered espresso beans to go with our coffee theme, and the espresso foam pattern was perfectly executed. Couldn’t be happier.

We are BB&Bur frequent flyers! Ben and Will are kind and talented and Mason is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The cafe is charming and there's a large selection of goodies and drinks. While we stop in many weekend mornings for breakfast biscuit sandwiches, lattes and scones (and dog cookies!), we had the pleasure of ordering cupcakes and macarons for our baby shower this weekend and they were a hit! The vanilla cake with chocolate fudge icing was the crowd favorite, and the custom sprinkles they did for us were perfect. And I can't forget to mention - best macarons in Pittsburgh. Can't wait for another special occasion to order again. Thank you!
