I had a great experience! Saundra was great. I was in a tremendous amount of pain due to muscle stress. I am much better and getting better daily! Thank you!!
AVOID!!! I’d heard stories about the front desk chicks, but their treatment of my wife was beyond the pale. She had a prenatal massage booked for what she thought was 2:30. Upon arriving, my wife was informed that it was actually a 1:45 massage. The receptionist (with zero humanity) proceeds to inform my poor pregnant wife that she can go to the massage room and get the last thirty minutes of a 90 minute massage or not, but would have to pay the full amount regardless. My wife pleaded with the woman and started to cry because she was so stressed, but the receptionist repeatedly said “well it’s going to be a no-show so you’re going to be charged.” Zero sympathy. Zero regard for my pregnant wife with pregnancy brain where it’s hard to remember anything. (Women’s brains actually shrink because the blood is going to the baby.) I called on my wife’s behalf and was informed that the massage therapist was kind enough to drop the no-show charge, but the damage was already done. My wife was so distressed that her pregnant belly was cramping in pain for hours. Which was literally hurting my unborn child! Can’t believe people like this exist let alone are employed in customer-facing positions. AVOID!!! ***Edit to respond to Bella Strada*** Her getting the full massage at her whim is CLEARLY not the issue defined in this review. The issue was a rude receptionist who was callous with my wife and who couldn’t make an exception to the “no show” full charge policy even though my wife clearly missed the appointment due to her pregnancy brain. (The massage therapist was the one who had the heart to not charge her when he heard about it, bless him.) In your response you also glossed over the extreme distress this caused my wife and the pain it caused her. You people are truly awful.
I will Start off with saying the massage therapist was wonderful 4.5 stars for her! The room where the massage was performed was either above a washer because the bed kept shaking, it was not the most relaxing experience for $150 massage... The spa itself I was very disappointed with. The girls at the front desk did not acknowledge me for the first couple minutes. They did not ask for my name the other girl just whispered to take me back. My husband called to make the appointment and verified 4 times if the prenatal massage would have the belly pillow, or the table cut out they assured him yes, but when I got there it was a side laying massage. I wish this would have been communicated over the phone.
I’ve been a loyal customer of Bella Strada Salon for years. I highly recommend Bev Harlow, Master Aesthetician, for facials and all of your skincare needs. I personally like the Prestige Facial, but there are many packages from which to choose. Bev can evaluate your skincare needs and recommend the best treatment for you. She’s also very kind, relatable and genuine. She’s the best in town.
I had the most amazing facial with Emma Arnold and I can’t recommend her enough! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely relaxed and pampered. Her touch is gentle but effective, and she explained each step with care and confidence. My skin has never felt so clean, soft, and glowy! Emma is not only incredibly skilled, but also so kind and genuine—you can tell she truly loves what she does. If you’re considering booking with her, don’t wait. Your face will thank you!
