Mae from Beyond Smitten Events (BME) took the stress off our shoulders by tying up the little details together, creating a timeline and ensuring vendor coordination was taken care of. Our wedding day ran so smoothly. We just enjoyed ourselves without having to worry about anything else. The vendors we hired were pretty much already familiar with BME/Mae and noted how we were in good hands. The sense of relief in knowing we picked such an organized and professional planner helped make our wedding planning that much more enjoyable! We feel so lucky to have found BME to support our wedding! 5 stars!
Mae is THE wedding planner as far as we are concerned. My husband and I expressed to her all of our anxieties and worries about finally planning our wedding, and she not only listened to us, but helped us tackle every step so that our worries were eased throughout the year-long process. Mae is incredibly detail-oriented, kind, and adaptable. Any question, hesitation, or worry we had was addressed in full during our meetings, and she always reminded us that she was available by text if we needed to follow up on something on short notice. It also became apparent that Mae is the absolute favorite planner among vendors in our area. Everyone that we booked had not only worked with Mae, but told us that she was their preference for who to work with. Everyone conveyed that working with Mae guarantees that the planning will go smoothly, will be seamlessly organized, and will be adaptable to any unexpected situations that may arise. She, and the entire Beyond Smitten team, made our wedding run flawlessly. They anticipated every need, transition, and question before we or our loved ones could think of them on the day of. Truly, the best decision we made was booking Mae as our planner.
Mae was wonderful to work with for our wedding this year. We booked her almost a year in advance, and from our first planning session, she helped us get even more excited about the day while figuring out what we actually wanted (neither of us had strong opinions at the start). She listened, offered creative ideas, and helped us figure out a plan that felt like us. As our wedding got closer, Mae kept us organized and on track without ever making things feel overwhelming. The weather forecast was all over the place, and she helped keep us as calm and prepared as we could be. It did end up raining, but Mae and her team handled our plan so smoothly that we didn't even notice anything happening behind the scenes :) Mae is warm, friendly, professional, and brings such a calming energy to every interaction. We’re SO grateful for her support and highly recommend working with her!
I’ve still been floating from our beautiful wedding day at Park Winters, but I really wanted to leave this review to recommend Mae at Beyond Smitten Events for any future brides! My husband and I decided to go with the “Month-of-Coordination” package since our wedding was going to be smaller and more intimate with a guest count in the 40s and since I am that Type A bride who plans way too much for her own good. Although I had thought we had most of the work done on our own, we quickly realized during our check-in meetings the real value of having a professional coordinator on our team. Mae was so easy to work with, calm, gentle, and most importantly, she was fully supportive and made us feel comfortable with our own visions and ideas for a wedding that did not fit the “traditional” template of a wedding. We really appreciated her responsiveness via email and text, her communication with our vendors and venue, and for her incredible flexibility on our wedding day despite the unpredictable on-and-off rain. She and her assistant still managed to keep everything running smoothly so that we didn’t have to worry about anything, and our wedding day still turned out SO beautiful and special! I can’t thank her and her assistant enough. I highly recommend Beyond Smitten Events for any couples needing a wedding planner/coordinator for their wedding in the future!
We can’t say enough wonderful things about Mae and the Beyond Smitten Events team! From start to finish, Mae was incredibly communicative, organized, and simply amazing. She made the entire planning process feel effortless and stress-free, always keeping us on track and ensuring every detail was perfectly handled. Her professionalism and calm presence allowed us to truly enjoy our day without a single worry. Her and her amazing team set up all personal decor beautifully and really made our vision come to life! We are so very grateful for everything she did to make our wedding absolutely perfect! My husband and I highly recommend this team of amazing individuals, you will not be disappointed!
