We were happy to have Jake to redo our kitchen cabinets. From start to end he handled the job. He always kept me as to the progress of the job daily. I gave him a key on the first day of the job. I knew from the day one he was a honest man. The product was flawless. The installation was tedious. Jake worked his butt off everyday, the results were perfection. I would give Big Dog a great reference and answer any concerns a future customer might have.
Big Dog Painting completed my kitchen cabinet painting in five days. Jake and Leo did an excellent job refinishing the cabinets, fixing broken hinges and adjusting drawers. The worksite was always clean, and kitchen accessible after they were done for the day. I would recommend them to anyone interested in upgrading their kitchen. We couldn’t be happier with Big Dog Painting! From start to finish, they exceeded our expectations, restoring our 1840s historic home with exceptional care. They handled everything—from the carpentry work on our front porch to the full exterior painting—while preserving the character and charm that makes an old home so special. Charlie quickly became our go-to person throughout the project. He understood our vision right away and guided us in choosing the perfect materials to bring it to life. Tim and Angel rebuilt our porch with incredible attention to detail, preserving the charm and character of our 1800s home while giving it a much-needed refresh on the decking and railings. Meanwhile, Derek and Ever led the painting crew in completely transforming the exterior. Huge credit to Ever, Oscar, Santos, and Camilo for their hard work—especially in the 90+ degree heat! The team left our home spotless every day throughout the project. We recently had an issue in our condo where a neighbor had water and it damaged our unit. Our association uses Big Dog so I asked for a quote to paint out of our whole condo because it is completely open concept and just doing 1 wall you would be able to tell the difference. We have 14’ high ceilings and knew this would be a big job. We had Dennis look at the space and got a quote to paint but also fix cracks in the walls and bad taping the builder did. They quoted the walls and ceilings in the open space, roughly 1500 square ft. The quote was great so we went with them. We had Roberto and Carlos there for 3-1/2 days and they were the nicest guys and worked very hard. They also had to repair the hole in our wall that was made because of the water and we couldn’t be more happier. They went the extra mile from start to finish and suggested a few things for us as well. Dennis was by multiple times a day checking on their work. We felt so comfortable with them that we went to work and left them there alone on 2 of the days. I highly highly recommend Big Dog and we will definitely use them again.
We recently had our 40 year old kitchen cabinets painted by Big Dog and couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. You would think they are brand new! We’ve been receiving nonstop compliments about how amazing they look from friends and family. Big Dog was amazing to work with; every one of their employees was kind, helpful, and incredibly hardworking. They stuck to their original schedule and estimate (which was beyond reasonable for the quality of their work). Graeme, the owner, was super helpful during the original consult and answered all my questions. He even helped put me in touch with Gerrity Stone to get our new counter. Charlie kept us well informed throughout the project and promptly answered any questions I had along the way. When Jake came to pick up the cabinet doors he walked me through the whole process so I knew what to expect over the next week or two and answered all my questions. Kali worked on painting and refinishing the cabinet boxes at our house and is really amazing. He put in so many hours making sure the boxes were prepped, primed, filled, and painted perfectly. And Jake and Leo worked on refinishing the cabinet doors at their shop while Kali was here working on the boxes. The doors came out amazing and look brand new. Once everything was painted Kali and Leo came back to reinstall the doors and hardware and did an amazing job realigning everything perfectly. The final results far exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t be happier with our new old cabinets. I would recommend Big Dog to anyone with a painting project- they’re a great company to work with. (We’re still doing work on our kitchen so I don’t have any photos of it totally completed yet, but you can see what a huge difference having the cabinets painted already made.)
