A very well run coffee shop at the Birmingham New Street station. We had the banofee waffle, latte and a pastel de nata. All were good. I would stop here again.
We visited Birmingham a few days ago and, after walking around the city centre, struggled to find a decent proper coffee place - just the usual overpriced American chains. After a bit of Googling, we discovered this café tucked away on the upper floor of Grand Central, and what a find it was. The service was excellent, the quality of both the food and coffee was very high, and the prices were refreshingly reasonable. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming, even though it was clearly busy. If you’re looking for real coffee in the city centre, this is absolutely the place to seek out. The screens in the bar area are a great touch and really help when it’s busy. There was a constant queue while we were there, which says it all. Highly recommended.
Tom and jack have the best service ever!! Love them both and they deserve a raise and evrything happy in life!!! They served me and my sister a month ago and I still remember their lovely and kind service I hope they get all the tips and bonuses
Ordered a mocha, an Americano, and a pain au chocolat — everything was absolutely spot on. Genuinely impressive. The pain au chocolat was beautifully baked: light, fluffy, and miles better than the hard, mass-produced ones you get at chains like Starbucks or Costa. The Americano had a lovely, rich aroma and tasted just as good. Served by Sophia, friendly, polite and excellent customer service. Overall, a solid 10/10.
Incredible place and staff, we ordered 2 drinks and waffles and the service was straightforward, easy and very quick. Our order was served to us in no time and as they have screens we could see updates in real time. The waffles were fluffy and generously filled and our drinks were made to perfection. In multiple occasions the staff members came and checked up on us, offering us complimentary water and serviettes. The decor is impeccable and the music playlist perfect. Absolutely incredible, thank you 🤩
