I was looking for a personalized course to improve every day and glam make-up looks as I've never been good at wearing makeup. I took the six-week personal makeup course in which I have learned the basics from skin care routine, color match, correct layering, and delving into both natural and glam looks. Veronica, with years of experience as a professional make-up artist, shared her expertise and knowledge. She is a patient, hands-on teacher who answered any questions that I've had. With practiced, I've improved on my make-up looks and gotten more confident. With the personal course, you are able to advance to pro course to expand more knowledge on makeup and learn how to put makeup on others.
I booked Veronica for my wedding hair and makeup, and she ended up being one of the absolute highlights of the day for both me and my mom. She was calm and reassuring, which was exactly what we needed. Veronica created two beautiful looks for me: one for our Indian wedding ceremony and one for the American reception. Each look felt perfect for the moment, and I still looked and felt like myself. My makeup lasted flawlessly through everything, even though I am a crier! She also did some light makeup for my husband, which was subtle but made such a difference in photos. On top of all that, Veronica helped place my veils and jewelry with such care and attention to detail. She truly went above and beyond. I can’t recommend her enough, not just for her talent, but for her warmth, professionalism, and the ease she brings to such a big day.
I was really disappointed, the hairstylist didn't do anything she said she was going to do. When I first booked the appt for my daughter, the hairstylist had said for us to bring my daughter's dress, crown, shoes and bouquet so we can take pictures in the back of her salon, well that didn't happen. My daughter's Make-up for her Quincenera came out beautiful! but as for her hairstyle it was ok it was nice but not what I wanted, she put like 40-50 Bobbi pins all over my daughter's hair, it was soo noticable, she didn't even try to hide all those Bobbi pins.The curls on her hair didn't last that I had to take my daughter to a different hair salon so they can fix it. When I took her to a different hair salon they even said that they can't believe that she put all those Bobbi pins showing like that..Thank God the other hair salon fixed her hair and added curl's..
What a find and experience! I took the 6 week personal course and learned SO much. Veronica stands out for her expertise and ability to explain and coach students as they develop their skills. One of my struggles was with color matching for my skin tone. Veronica took the time during each class to give me insights on what would work well for me. I had a good familiarity with skin care. The initial class delving into skin care and prep was informative and introduced me to primer and the benefits of a good eye cream. For anyone who may feel overwhelmed and/or intimidated by the world of makeup, Blushy Beauty is a great place to start, learn, and grow. I felt empowered learning to do my own makeup (from everyday casual looks to glam/going out looks) and gaining an understanding of the terminology, tools, and techniques to apply it. I feel so much more confident and knowledgeable in creating looks and exploring how I can use makeup to put my best face forward. Thank you Blushy Beauty!
