The management at this store has gone downhill. Having been a loyal customer with 2 cars getting their tires from here. I won’t be returning. I booked in my car a week prior for a specific time, had taken time off work and was told told it would take 1.5 hours. The new “manager” confirmed it would take 1.5 hours. I return two hours later to see my car untouched, and all the workshop bays filled with cars that weren’t there before mine. Collected my car and left. Will source tires elsewhere from now on and won’t be coming back. The previous manager John ran a great business. This is not the same place I used to use as my tire place.
I wouldn’t call it a Christmas miracle, but I truly appreciate the help from the amazing staff at Bob Jane, especially Ben (a big shout out to you Ben, thanks heaps) and the whole team. Just one day before Xmas my tyre went flat and I really needed help. They stepped in straight away and helped me out in a really stressful situation. I’m very grateful for their kindness and professionalism. Highly recommend this store, 10/10 for sure!
I cannot sing the praises of this place highly enough. They deserve more than 5 stars!! Last Wednesday, I was about to head back to Melbourne with my wife when we woke to a dirty old screw hanging out the top of one of the tyres and a slow puncture. This was before opening time and although I was there early to get it repaired, they let me in and dealt with the issue as soon as they could. I wa on the road again not long after 8am and on top of that, the crew there wished me a safe drive home, a Merry Christmas and sent me on my way telling me this was on the house. Wow!! This was just the nicest gesture that I could have ever hope for. The service is amazing, they did a great job and well, what more can I say. Service this good is hard to find, so when I come across good people like this, the world deserves to know. Go to Bob Jane Pultney St. There is nowhere else I'd go to get my tyres done in SA letalone Adelaide. Thank you guys 🙏 and Merry Christmas to you too.
Rang up previous week to book car in for 12 month tyre maintenance check. Got there 9am 20-Nov 2025. There was a bloke in front of me telling the manager he had rang 3 times with no answer then was on hold for 15 minutes until the call dropped out. He stood aside for me to get served. The store mgr said “You want to wait?”, I said I’m off to work but can I come back and get my car at 1 o’clock please? “After lunch, I’ll text you.” Mgr confirmed. No text by 1:30 so I rang, on hold for 5 minutes, I hung up and tried again, on hold again for 2 minutes. Decided to just turn up, got there at 2. Greeted with a “G’day maaate!” I pointed at my car and asked if it had been done or still waiting. “Still waiting I think.” I said I’ll take it now. He said “Not able to wait?” I told him no, I have to go back to work. He said “Sorry about that.” I have booked it in at another Bob Jane who were quite interested in my story, they said the previous manager had recently left, I told them he was great and I’d been there numerous times over the years. So, new manager, if you read this, you should answer your phone and manage the store a lot better, you might have figured it out already, if not, I will not return to your store.
Bob Jane T-Mart Adelaide is not a safe and trustworthy place for your car to do any maintenance! I went to Bob Jane T-Mart Adelaide two days ago for wheel alignment. I left my car at 11:30 AM and returned to pick it up around 12:30 PM. Then, I realised my car was parked in an alley with an emergency light on and some scratches on the left front door; I had initially parked inside the store. I asked the staff to explain; they said the emergency light was helping me to avoid a ticket for parking there, but they were the ones parking there. For the scratches, they say it wasn’t there when they finished the wheel alignment; it should have been caused by some car passing by the alley. When I ask them what they can do for me, they say it is not their responsibility. All they could do was look at the security camera to see if it could capture which car hit my car. However, it still didn’t help the situation a lot, and they suggested I buy a polisher to fix it myself, and it was bad luck happened to me. Moreover, my battery got dry because they used the emergency light to park my car there for some time without the engine on. I appreciate that they helped me to start my car so I could get going. Still, it should not have happened in the first place if they had packed it back to a safe place like I initially parked inside the store area. How does anyone trust this store if all the damage during their service is not responsible for them?
