I was completely new to meditation when I joined the 8-day Meditation Retreat, and I felt cared for every step of the way. The teachers, volunteers, and staff were incredibly compassionate, attentive, and genuinely kind. Li and Linda led the retreat with a lot of heart and presence, and it made the experience feel safe and supportive. The food was awesome and clearly prepared with care, which really added to the overall experience. I’m very grateful for the retreat and thankful to Grand Master Jin Bodhi and everyone at the center.
I had an incredible experience at the 8-day Health and Happiness Meditation Retreat at Bodhi Meditation. The teacher and assistants were deeply knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire program. And the homemade Chinese food for lunch everyday was a big highlight! I arrived feeling scattered, stressed, and disconnected from any consistent meditation practice. By the end of the retreat, I felt refreshed, centered, and energized in a way I hadn’t experienced in a long time. The structure and care of the program made a real difference. After coming to the center, I truly felt how caring and supportive the teachers and volunteers are. The practices in class helped my body and mind gradually relax, and each day I could feel my energy becoming more positive. I’m starting to feel stronger, more hopeful, and more uplifted. The environment here is warm and welcoming, and fellow students are very kind. I will continue joining the group practices to keep improving myself. I’m very grateful for the changes this place has brought to me.
The Bodhi Meditation Center offers monthly 8-day health and wellness class which include standing, sitting meditation, chanting and dharma teaching. I strongly recommend everyone take this class. It will be the best investment you ever make for your body and mind. I am new to meditation and didn’t know what to expect. To my amazement, on the sixth day of retreat, my years of insomnia receded. My menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, mood swings, joint pain, low energy start to diminish. I continued practicing at home and took the Oct and November classes. My acid reflux, tennis elbow and left hip pain all went away. I am full of energy and become a happier and healthier person physically and mentally. I also witnessed miraculous results from participants some are in their 60s, 70s and 80s relieved from years of back pain, headache, sleep disorders, swelling feet, dots in eyes. Discover this meditation class changed my life. I am grateful. I highly recommend this class to everyone.
