When they say they will buy or take in for trade books is not truthful. I took several boxes of books (most I bought there) he took 2 books and refused the rest. All the books were mostly hard back. So don't buy books there if you eventually want to trade them back. Try 1/2 Price books instead.

This place is a whole treasure hunt disguised as a bookstore. Great Bookaholic on West Street is the kind of shop where you walk in “just to browse” and suddenly you’re in a full-blown relationship with a stack of used books you absolutely need. The shelves are packed, the prices are kind, and the vibe is pure bookworm heaven. It’s cozy without trying, nostalgic without being dusty, and the selection always feels like it was curated by someone who truly understands readers: people who want adventure, mystery, romance, and maybe a little chaos all at once. Every visit feels like a win, because you never leave without finding something wonderful you didn’t even know you were looking for. If you’re a reader in Wichita and you haven’t been here… what are you doing? Go let your inner book dragon hoard some new treasures.
The outside doesn’t do it justice! You can buy, sell, or trade here! Nice library feel. Places to have a seat and check out their inventory. Felt nice and relaxing in there. Staff was very friendly. Impressed with selection of new and used. Will definitely make a return visit! Worth checking out!
A great option for used books in Wichita, at the Central and West shopping center. The sheer size of the selection is impressive here which makes browsing a worthwhile walkthrough. The store is a lock for anybody to find books for most interests and genres, and the staff is good about helping with a specific search. The only drawback here is that a portion of their books are sometimes overpriced for being used, mainly on their hardbacks. I still think there is plenty value to be found here so I do recommend Book-A-Holic to any reading fan on the west side.
