We had a great time at Boom Battle! Ellis was absolutely amazing — his customer service and attentiveness when we had a minor issue was handled with real care and professionalism, which made such a difference to our experience. Most of the team, including the bar staff, were really welcoming and friendly. One lady with black hair and eye makeup didn’t feel as approachable, but aside from that the staff were lovely overall. The venue was clean and tidy, including the toilets, which is always a big plus. We also loved finding the red button (“push it”) — such a fun touch! Great bar selection too. The music was a tiny too loud for 2pm difficult to hear the team explain games or hear each other, think it may be better to be that loud after little later when there’s more people in the venue. but the playlist itself was really good. Overall, a brilliant experience and we’d definitely return

We had an excellent host for my 40th I can’t remember her name axe throwing Prosecco pong and karaoke was brilliant even had drinks with the booking that we didn’t know about was a great night thank you so much

Shyma was a great host ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Addictive and Way More Fun Than Expected! I went axe throwing not really knowing what to expect—and wow, it ended up being one of the most fun activities I’ve done in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome, explained everything clearly, and had us safely throwing axes within minutes. It’s surprisingly satisfying hearing the thunk when your axe sticks into the target. Even if you’ve never done anything like it before, it’s easy to pick up, and the coaches are great at giving tips that actually help you improve fast. It quickly turns into a friendly competition that keeps everyone laughing and cheering each other on. The atmosphere was energetic but still relaxed, and the whole experience felt well-organized, safe, and totally stress-free. Whether you’re going with friends, family, coworkers, or on a date, it’s a unique activity that’s different from the usual bowling or escape room. I honestly didn’t want our session to end—and I’m already planning to go back. Highly recommended for anyone looking to try something new and unforgettable! 🪓

Boom Bar is an absolute blast. It’s the perfect mix of a lively bar and an arcade, with loads of fun games and activities that make it ideal for a night out with friends or even a casual date. There’s always something to do, which keeps the energy high and the atmosphere exciting. A special shout-out to Amina, the hostess — she’s fantastic at her job. Extremely welcoming, friendly, and genuinely great with people. She makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in and really adds to the overall experience with her positive, amicable nature. I’d highly recommend Boom Bar to anyone looking for a fun, interactive place with great vibes and even better hospitality. Definitely a spot worth visiting again.

A group of six went for a friend's birthday. We paid for axe throwing and crazier golf. The axe throwing was loads of fun. Our host, Ellie, was really fun and helpful. If it was the axe throwing alone, I'd be leaving a 5 star review. Unfortunately the crazier golf was awful. The first couple of holes were okay, but there was only three of the four labyrinth style holes had handles and that was just the start. The hole with the bike was a joke. Balls got stuck down the chutes, and when the threw more down to dislodge them, loads of balls fell out. Hole 9 was placed in a way we didn't know which hole it was, so that got played earlier than intended (meaning we had to go and get new balls as it doesn't give balls back afterwards). The "baseball" hole just flat out didn't work and by this point we'd basically given up scoring or playing at all. The table football hole was a shambles. Such a shame as it really put a downer on the night - well, it gave us a laugh at how shambolic the whole thing was. So yeah, 5 stars for Ellie and the axe throwing, but zero stars for the crazier golf. We had joked about swapping out the golf for beer pong. I wish we had now.
