Worst experience ever! We showed up with several kids who have bowled maybe a couple times ever. The place was mostly empty with most of the lanes empty. The lady behind the counter rudely said it would be 2 hours before a lane opened without any further explanation. She seemed genuinely pleased to tell us that.
The rates were fair, plenty of lanes, plenty of space . James was awesome! Special shot out to (Amari) who made me feel like I was a guess in her home. Da' Garnett Squad Will Be Back!!!
Before tonight I would have said Bowl America was a great place to spend an afternoon, but the manager Michelle was very disrespectful and dismissive of my brother and I when trying to secure a lane on a busy night. We have been going to Bowl America since we were kids, bringing our report cards in to get free games. However now as two young adults working full time jobs wanting to enjoy a game or two after work get greeted with rudeness. We were patient, respectful and kind as our parents raised us. I don’t think I will be returning. She tried to apologize to us while we bowled but I felt it was too little too late. Every other experience I have had at Bowl America has been great. I can’t say I wouldn’t recommend going here, I would just avoid her.
Management here sucks. With brothers' humor, they like to joke with my mom, and they were picking up her alcoholic drink and saying "Wow this is so good" , without ACTUALLY DRINKING IT because they were literally SPEAKING while holding the cup-meaning it isn't possible for them to speak clearly AND be drinking it. The big headed-woman with brown and red braids confronted them, yelled at my little brothers and asked for their ID and then took my mother's drink from her without refund. My mom asked if she physically saw the straw go into their mouths for them to have been drinking it, she doubled down and lied because her ego is too high to admit she was wrong. Rude workers, horrible customer service, run down alley, they literally forgot to give us our food that we ordered over halfway into our experience. This is the worst alley l've EVER, EVER, EVER been to. DO NOT GO HERE.
I brought a party of 8 to bowl and snack and, while I could understand the facility not wanting people to bring whole meals into the facility, sending me back outside in 100* heat because I brought in my Starbucks is really petty and irritating. After today, we will not return to this bowling alley. Food was acceptable. We bought a lot for the kids but I didn't take many photos since I was irritated from the get-go.
