The young lady at this store is amazing! Incredibly knowledgeable about all the equipment. Surprised to find some really reasonable princing in this store. The young lady does a great job at sizing, drilling ect. I used to go to another shop im henderson, but now this is my go-to.
Super convenient to bowl a few games while they drill your ball. Just as good as other Pro shops they take your measurements and have a variety of balls and supplies to check out I was very pleased with the service and convenience
I met the manager Makenzie at a previous location and she spent time getting a ball arsenal together for my son which helped him place 2nd twice in a sport he’s fairly new too without a full time coach. Her knowledge about everything bowling and equipment is unmatched and I’ve been all over Vegas. I 100% guarantee she will take the time to help you in anyway she can. Her sweet voice and patience is welcome especially when your new to the sport and your not that knowledgeable. I’ve had numerous balls drilled by her for my son and I and won’t trust anyone else after. Every ball feels the same and fit perfectly. Unfortunately we moved for my son’s college and if we need new balls in the future I will order from her since she has our measurements on file and she will ship it. Thanks for being the best Makenzie you’ve made this difficult journey into bowling less confusing and more enjoyable.
Bought two high performance balls from them. I explained I have been bowling fingertip and asked Todd if conventional might be good. I explained I believe my thumb hole was too big in my current ball. He did not advise me against conventional on such a high priced ball (storm physix blackout) and did not encourage I stay fingertip and try a snugger thumb fit. I basically ruined a $250 ball. I called him, made my concerns known and he got very frustrated over the phone to the point where he was raising his voice, losing his patience. I reminded him that week I spent close to $1,000 in his store buying supplies and he said the best he could do is waive drilling and charge me store price for a new ball. I did this with fingertip measurements. I don’t know if this was on purpose, or what, but when I took the balls to another shop, they could tell right away the new ball , hammer black widow mania was drilled too far for my hand. I couldn’t get my thumb in all the way and get my fingertips in all the way. The other shop convinced me to fill and redrill the storm ball and its bowling fine, I just hate having to spend the extra money when it should’ve been done right the first time. I took the black widow mania back to this shop to compare measurements and someone other than Todd confirmed the ball drilling was longer than my storm. I asked for direction on how to fix my ball. He ultimately suggested adding a slug would be a fix. I thought he would add the slug the way it’s done on my refilled storm ball, but he left a large portion of the slug in the ball. It fit better, like my storm ball but feels much lighter than the blackout now and doesn’t get clean revolutions down lane like my blackout does when I throw them the same exact way. I’d like to call Todd about it again, but I’m not interested in getting yelled at. This is probably just going to be an instance where I have to take my losses and go to another shop. Unless this review prompts bowlersmart Henderson to want to fix their mistake, I don’t want to have to deal with them otherwise. Editing to add photos and note the difference in length on my hand fitting was off by 1/4 inch.
Todd Adams is one of the best Pro-Shop Managers out there. He is very knowledgeable and welcoming. Todd helped me better my game, I went from a 140 avg to a 170 avg within the span of two weeks.
